1. This will be the 2nd time the Warriors are able to win back to back titles when he is the leader

2. If KD comes back and they come back from 3-1 then he looks even more like a fraud

yeah in 2015 and no Finals MVP. Good night:lol

What does a FMVP or when it happened have to do with your original claims?

Nice try, now back to bed you go.

Yawn... Kawhi isn’t finals perfection like MJ. Kawhi lost in 2013.

So losing in the first round 3 straight times or to Detroit 3 years in a row is better :lol

Ditto losing to Orlando in '95 instead of making the Finals

All the matters is that once you have a team good enough to help you get to the finals, what we’re you able to accomplish and were you the finals MVP?

These are the metrics since basketball isn’t 1v1.

Kawhi failed when given that opportunity, while MJ didn’t and was flawless not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5 but 6 times.

Very simple concept.

I don't think Steph gives a rats ass about any of this stupid crap 13-year-olds concern themselves with.

He's a great player that's totally change the way the game is played, has 2 MVPs, 3 titles, and is the greatest shooter in the history of the sport and he goes home to a $30 million dollar mansion every night, lol.

It's not his personality I don't think to get caught up in petty crap, his legacy is already built anyway.

Say what you want about him, but he is probably the most humble superstar in the league, he just wants to be on a great team and I can respect that.

If you learn from that and then become unstoppable ... yeah sure. Cause that's why people watch f*cking sports. That's what people want to see. The human spirit rise up. It's not how you start, but how you finish.

You start, you fail some times, you learn and grown, and then you become better and better. That's how it's "supposed" to work. That's why people are angry when players try to "short cut" that process and do things like super-team.

Losing to Orlando enhanced Jordan's legacy, why? Because he f*cking came back the next year and kicked their asses after everyone said he was finished, washed up, too old, lets get this Orlando dynasty underway. Nope.

Being bullied by the Pistons but taking your lumps, manning up and shaking their hands every year they beat you and then beating them so bad in '91 that they walked off their home court like cowards without shaking your hand ... doesn't get any sweeter than that.

You're supposed to struggle. It's supposed to be that way. Nobody wants to watch a movie where the hero just wins 5 minutes in, that's not compelling.

If Kawhi wins 5 more chips, hey he can have that same adulation and rep too. It's one of the perks.

Why couldn’t MJ fail after he learned? Why was he so fvcking GOAT that he had to never lose a finals series despite playing during a time when defense was actually allowed to be played unlike this current shit rule set? It’s just not fair to those that never saw such GOAT dominance. Oh well, shit happens.

That's cool and all, but that has literally nothing to do with what I said :lol

I was disputing the notion that losing in the Finals is worse than losing earlier in the playoffs

Nope. KD has never won a finals without Curry’s help. Curry has won without needing KD.

Good try, but no.
Without curry, drays and kkays help you mean. Let's not act like curry is anymore important than either of them. How many playoff games has curry won with one of them out? How many playoff games have they won with curry out?

The same amount curry has won without one of them I'm pretty sure. Now answer my question. How many playoff games has curry won without dray or Klay? How many playoff games have they won without him?
