31ppg 9rpg 4apg 2spg on 50/39/89
This is what winning looks like.
Not 30-10-10 on sub 40% shooting.

And to think it wasn't that long ago that people voted to give him the FMVP when he put up 17.8 / 6.4 / 2.0
I'm seeing some progress.

~18 ppg on 75%TS while being the best defensive player by far.

Not bad considering he's playing against a defense that can't even hand check. Imagine MJ's numbers in this soft league of watered down defensive rules.

You're trying SO HARD to cope with 6 finals losses.
I feel sorry for you.
Just kidding, your salty tears are entertaining.

Just the broad strokes:
Averaged 34.7/9.9/4 on 80.8% TS against a talent-glutted 76ers team
Hit the first walk-off Game 7 game-winner in NBA Playoffs history
Outperformed the reigning regular-season MVP en route to upsetting the sixty-win Bucks
He’s now on the brink of quashing the Warriors dynasty, even more inconceivably in a gentleman’s sweep
Within the tapestry of his level of competition, individual performance, and Cinderella-story championship success, I might not hesitate to declare this the playoffs run of the decade. Only a 3-1 let-up could yank it out of that conversation at this stage.
The only missing sweetener, sadly, is the Kevin Durant match-up wherein the Finals MVP-to-be would’ve had a chance to outplay his predecessor and another fellow BITW candidate on the biggest stage.

if Durant had a competitive bone in his body he would have suited up to challenge Kawhi. Instead, he's hiding behind his "injury". This prevents him from being embarrassed on the biggest stage in basketball by a rival player and it shows how much the Warriors need him, erasing the narrative that he was a coat rider. It's a cowardly move but you have to admit it's pretty smart.
Much like how LeBron cowardly avoided Kobe in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
Both Lebron and KD are pu55ies. Lebron had to form a super team on the heat to beat KD when he played for OKC. KD then had a superteam of his own and make lebron his prison whore in 2017 and 2018. Kawhi shits on both of them because he joined a team that got swept in the east.

KD also had his goon Zaza take out Kawhi in the 2017 playoffs after the Spurs were up 25 in game 1. Robbed us of a good series there.

if Durant had a competitive bone in his body
He joined a team which he blew a 3-1 lead to. There isn't a worse move in nba history.
