Not just the "young guys" but the vets as well
https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2839902-rajon-rondo-unplugged.amp.html
The rumors were compounded by the fact that James had dinner with Davis, gushed about how much he'd like to play with him and is represented by the same agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports Group.
It's like you're playing with MJ, and then you get there, and it's like your mom and dad, or the person that you looked up to and idolized, doesn't want you. And then to have that sitting in your gut, not knowing. Guys aren't at the age where they can have a man-to-man conversation versus texting you. Everybody wants to text you: 'How you doing? We cool?' People don't understand how to have a real conversation and talk out problems."
"Even some of the old guys were affected," Rondo says. "I can't say a name, but I remember me and the guy were on the bench for the Atlanta game right before the [All-Star] break. The guy was cussing and talking bad about the situation during the game. I was like: 'Snap out of it. That shit is over with. We'll get through it. As vets, we have to move forward and not focus on what the young guys are focusing on. Set an example.' It was a little crazy to see a vet distraught over that.
Rondo also sees someone who didn't have the early benefit of Hall of Fame veterans to mentor him, as Rondo did.
"No one person can have it all," Rondo says. "Who did he respect coming in? Who were his vets that showed him the ropes on how to be a leader? The biggest thing KG taught me was that you can't pick and choose when you want to be a leader. You have to do it every day. ..."

Rondo saying what was already known, though an inside perspective is always nice to have
LeBrons leadership was terrible last season (As bad or worse than his last year in Cleveland) and it showed publicly. I understand he has a lot of shit going on outside the game but that’s more to Rondos point - you can’t pick and choose
Hopefully it looks a lot better next season but seems it’s going from bad to worse

LeBron had no idea about the whole Anthony Davis fiasco
He was as shocked as the rest of his teammates

can you refer me to the part where in-team leadership is blamed?
What does the last paragraph mean to you?
It’s a pretty obvious reference to Brons faults as a leader
Though as I said, we didn’t need Rondos words to see there was bad leadership last season. It was blatantly obvious
EDIT: To add, here’s his full quote on it
"That's why KG was so big for me. When things didn't go well in Boston, Kevin would be one of the first guys to call me and tell me, 'That was right today' or 'That was wrong today.' The biggest thing he taught me was that you can't pick and choose when you want to be a leader. You have to do it every day. ...
"I was fortunate, later, to have great leaders like KG and [coach] Doc Rivers. Sam Cassell came in; Eddie House, Keyon Dooling, PJ Brown. I took a little bit from all of them. ... I don't know who LeBron had his first couple of years as far as how to be a leader or what it takes. He might not be a vocal leader or deal with confrontation, but he's in the gym every day. He's leading that way."
Since when does LeBton only lead by showing up? That’s basically hands-off leadership. When he’s engaged, he’s typically a vocal leader and we have seen him confront others when needed (though more passive aggressively recently). So it’s pretty obvious he wasn’t into it

Nope, still waiting to see which words lead you to your conclusion.
Rondo has explicitly praised LeBron and his leadership during and after the season, and had all the opportunity in the world to take a dig at leadership here, and does not do so.
You're literally making shit up.
Get better.
Does your brain just shut down before it bothers using any sort of critical thinking?
Rondo is referencing a lack of something. You following?
There'd be no reason to talk about what he was taught and what it means to be a leader if he truly thought that was already being covered well. Still following? If not, try re-reading these two pieces of it until you do:
"No one person can have it all," Rondo says. "Who did he respect coming in? Who were his vets that showed him the ropes on how to be a leader? The biggest thing KG taught me was that you can't pick and choose when you want to be a leader. You have to do it every day. ..

Since when is LeBron not a vocal leader? Probably when he's not giving a shit and not engaged, right?
If your brain is still working up to this point, I said the rest was obvious and we didn't need Rondo telling us. The players themselves called him out:

https://www.inc.com/chris-matyszczyk/lebron-james-just-gave-a-terrible-lesson-in-leadership-skills.html
“LeBron rarely exerts himself beyond a casual jog in transition defense and disregards spot-up shooters in most half-court situations, leaving them wide open,” Pete Zayas of Laker Film Room said to Bleacher Report before the game. “His defensive game these days resembles a disinterested center rather than the high-end wing defender that he once was.”
Then the guy sitting away from teammates on the bench (public showing), not joining huddles (public showing), dining with a potential trade target while his teammates are thrown under the bus, etc.
Don't be a moron here, his leadership was poor last season. If you disagree, go ahead and show otherwise. Not everything he does is amazing and there's a LOT he could've done better last season. Period

Shades of Miguel Pietrus.
And this is the first time in all my years of watching that a deal that didn't happen affected players so much. Get the **** over it. The closest I can remember is Pau Gasol after the failed Chris Paul trade, but I sympathized with him because LA always treated him like shit, Shannon Brown screwed his girlfriend, and Mike D'Antoni straight disrespected a Hall of Famer by sitting him on the bench and having him come in to shoot 3s.
Also betting Beasley was the vet cussing on the bench.

basically I think he thought Bron was leadr, but his leadership was not every day.
It could be due to a number of issues, including riding the LA organization out of the league , but I truly believe Bron wants another chip before he retires.
I'd have to say , he is not thrilled about a rebuild that is happening in LA , but he made his bed, so he can sleep in it.
