He's going to play Game 5 no matter what.

What does KD have to lose really? If they lose with him hobbling on the court, who cares right. If they win, he's a hero. If he blows out his achilles, Warriors still give him the supermax.

He has stuff to lose. Finals averages which is legacy. Speaking of people who say nobody cares in ten years. If he scores 12 ppg and the wars win the ring and he doesn't get fmvp and it drops his average to 27 ppg it is pretty significant. Dono the math but just saying.

If he comes back and balls all out good on him but I'd be surprised.

I'm sure KD's personal statistician is going over all the ramifications with him right now.

I see mixed signals constantly on KD's status. Just a few hours ago there was a report claiming that he just doesn't have it in practice that he couldn't help them in a game. It sounded as though he was done for the series, even assuming the warriors could get past game 5 w/o him.

I don't even think Durant wants to play himself. Risk his health for a team that 'could do it without him because they have' and now all of a sudden they're down 1-3 and need him? Sure.. I'm fine with him taking a back seat and protecting his health over a selfish team.

Heh. He knows. If he can get on Twitter/instagram, he can also look at his stats.

We'll see if he comes back, and if he does if they win. The only thing he has to gain is coming back from 3-1 w two gms in Toronto. He had a lot to lose, not even taking his health into account.
