Park in a garage. Never go outside ever unless it's completely sunny outside. If there's even a 1% chance of rain, stay inside or in your car. Literally do not go outside.

Yes. If you're a young man, there's a pretty good chance that a hot teacher will try to suck and **** your brains out. Every single one of them does it, every semester. They pick out a new student to play with. Literally do not go to school unless you want lifelong trauma from getting hot teacher poon.

I don't know where all these teachers were when I was growing up but damn they're literally out in full force now! Must be something in the water.

My uncle's stepdaughter was struck by lightning and killed last year.

I remember playing ball with her in their yard on Thanksgiving years back.

I know this came up in the teacher thread, but in all seriousness: How are so many people struck by lightnings? It's totally avoidable.

And that... ladies and gentlemen, is exactly how the media controls your minds.

No matter how statistically irrelevant a type of event is, just report it literally every single time it happens, and people will believe it's more than it is.

To put this into a little more perspective... roughly 50 people die in the US from lightning strikes annually...

Cancer? 600,000
Cardiac? 600,000
Car accident? 37,000
Guns? 40,000

Falling off of ladders? 400

Being shot by a cop? 1,000

Falling down the stairs? 12,000

climate change, silly. and if you're about to get hit, what's so hard about jumping outta the way? it's 2019, people - if you get struck by lightning it's because of your own incompetence.

Hopefully you're trolling about the climate change part and this wole post is just a giant troll... I mean... annual lightning strike fatalities in the US are down about 90% from 100 years ago.

For those not seeing what OP is doing:

He's trying to make a big deal of people getting hit by lightning much like others make a big deal (and rightfully so) out of people getting shot. Basically, his narrative is that getting shot by a gun is about as uncommon as getting hit by lightning, which is pretty laughable but this is ISH so...

Carry on then with your thread, Shogon.

Absolutely not. The US has statitistically more deaths by lightning strikes(relative to population) than Germany. I don't consume US media.

Of course it's insignificant compared to heart attacks, but not getting struck by lightnings is avoidable by direct action.

So what's the difference between Germany(4 lethal strikes/80M people) and the US(50 lethal strikes/320M)? 3 times the occurance is a significant statistic spike.

You don't think geography, topography and weather patterns play a role in those statistics? lol...

And what does this thread have to do specifically with US media? Are you telling me that the other networks overseas are more honest and less narrative driven? Possibly, I can't comment on that... I don't know much about foreign media sources... but this wasn't about US media specifically, as much as it was... don't let other people do your thinking for you, nevermind the media. You were letting ME do YOUR thinking for YOU by me making it seem like people are getting hit by lightning all the time.

The majority of the countries in the incidences from the past week I cited were not the US, by the way.

You got that wrong. I fully understand that being struck by a lightning is very rare compared to other causes of death. You didn't do any thinking for me. I just pointed out that it's occuring way more often in the US, similar to gun involved homicides. It was a sidefact I found pretty interesting.

I know your initial premise was the emergence of more teacher/pupil relationships than in the past, while in reality it's just the media reporting them way more often. Which I agree with.

I'm glad you noticed this frightening trend OP because I'm just about to roll out my line of full-body lightnening-proof condoms.

You just roll it over your entire body starting with your head and voila - you're immune to getting killed by lightening. we all know electricity can't conduct through an insulator like rubber.
