The only thing that could make this bigger and better is a Bob Costas-narrated intro montage before the game

Almost sounds too good to be true. Durant comes back, wins 3 straight, making him a way bigger deal on GOAT lists. I hope for his sake he is actually 100% cleared and doesn't risk greater injury when he is about to get the contract of his life.

I'm sure if he don't get the contract he can make it through unemployment for a while, maybe have to shop at wal mart instead of whole foods tho.

Must win for Toronto. All gsw needs is one win to get their momentum and confidence back. If gsw takes game 5, they’ll bulldoze through game 6 and 7.

Reminds me of Zidane at the 2002 world cup.

He was injured and missed the first two games, France hurried him back but they still got walloped by Denmark and Zizou was limping towards the end. His expressions showed how he regretted ruining his legacy by playing.

That's not the point. Sure he is rich but he can be even richer. Otherwise, it wouldn't matter where these guys go to play.

He faked it all along to set this up.

Perfect timing my ass, he couldve been back earlier.

I disagree for entertainment's sake. A game 7 in Toronto would be incredible, and I think they could still win it. But yeah, best to close it out.

No..hoping it ends tonight so Durant can fuxk off somewhere else and the nba can become competitive again.

It's competitive right now, though. They've looked vulnerable all year. And even if he stays in Golden State, I just don't think they like each other enough to keep battling it out for titles.

BlakFrankWhite

there is no way he is 100 percent .. If he is than he would have been close to 80-90 percent on Friday night and should have played..

He isn't. Every guy that watched him train is saying he's struggling but apparently he's an excellent actor who's fooling everyone so he can lead the grand comeback :lol

He ruined his legacy in 2006 getting kicked out for hitting an opponent. What a dumb arse .. Still he was one of the greats..

So is this a way for Wars to say we lost the series , he can go to another team in free agency - cause he was not a difference maker in 2018/19 season ???

Could be franchise interior motives , if he goes.
And they could embrace him if he comes back in 2019/20 season , because he was not healthy.

Kd didn’t join a 73 win team you obese idiot

What do you actually mean by this? Like, how many wins and what kind of team do you think the Warriors in 2017 would have been without KD?

I've seen this response so many times from people...

When people say that, they don't actually mean that the team he joined would have won 73 without him. It is just obvious...he is rightfully pointing out that the core team he joined...was a proven championship core that was capable of being the best regular season team of all time with Harrison Barnes instead of KD.

Would you rather people just say that KD joined a dynasty level proven championship core that could still cakewalk to the finals without him?

There has not been another team in the modern era that could lose a player close to as good as KD and still win at essentially a 70 win pace and easily make the NBA finals.

It is all just semantics...everyone with a brain knows what kind of team this was/is. And we just saw even more proof this year...an older/worse version just breezed to the finals without him. Has gone 32-4 or something now without him.

well he literally smokes crack so he might actually believe that removing harrison barnes breaks up their core significantly.
