Peak wise Duncan was definitely a level below those two, although he's not THAT far off in '03 which was some GOAT level shit

Starting a team, I would still take both over Duncan, but I'd at least consider taking Duncan over Shaq due to being a significantly better teammate and much more loyal player

Shaq never had a bad Finals performance and is 4/6 (thanks to Kobe but still, he DID show up)
Hakeem actually took a bunch of garbage and didn't just lead them to the Finals but won the damn thing and made bigger clutch plays Lebron ever will, DPOY, MVP FMVP same season.
Kobe won 5/7 and beat the teams Lebron routinely choked against and gave duncan a 1 - 4 spanking in the Playoffs in the 2000s and beat more 50+ win teams than anyone else. We had a nation-wide poll and Kobe came out on top 60% to 40, not even close.

Lebron has a losing record in the Finals and who has he beat routinely? The Demar Derozan Raptors? Paul George Pacers? Boston Celtics when they weren't even winning 50 games anymore? Bulls that one year?
