I don’t know what’s his deal tbh, in interviews I’ve heard and seen from him he comes off as a pretty strange guy but look at the results. He’s a great GM and supposedly everyone loves him.

pretty much this. Boy those tears weren't fake trust me. He's been worried about losing Kd to another team for at least the last 9 months. Now he's worried about losing Kd for a year guaranteed and this version of Kd perhaps forever. As a gm who said he was lightyears ahead this is like a freefall.
