View Full Version : Kawhi has only had THREE elite seasons

He is barely top 75 all time at this point and that is generous.

He was lucky to be on the Spurs for so long and automatically had playoff births. Sure he won FMVP in 2014...on 18/6, which is not impressive for FMVP standards.

Kawhi didn't even have a 30-point game until 2015/16 season...

Of course he is great now...but he has A LOT more playing to do to.

true but his 15 and maybe 14 are definitely more than role player years, they have value. He's not making serious noise on an all time list however

Late bloomer + out for long stretch due to an injury makes this a pointless critique.

No trolling, you really think Kawhi was better than LeBron or Durant before this year?

Yes or so close that they are interchangeable/on the same level. It

We have posters here but Kawhi in the top 30 already...

Kawhi is already better than Kobe all time. Get over it, OP.

5 years? You mean in 2014, when he averaged 13 points a game until the last 3 games of the Finals?

He's had TWO regular seasons averaging 25+ ppg, last year doesn't count because he was injured and he's only put up elite numbers in two Playoff runs so far.

2017 and 2019 are the only seasons you can argue him being top 3 and that's it.
2017 I still got LeBron, Durant & Curry over him, although tbf I'd probably have him 4th that season. This year though he's definitely top 3

I can get behind that. It’s extremely close though...
