Lebron was the best player in the league for multiple years before last season Durant officially dethroned him. Since then, Durant has been the best player in NBA the recent 2 seasons. Unfortunately, following this injury his dominance will come to an end. Whom do you think will become the best player in the league next season?

Curry, LeBron, or Harden, Anthony Davis being my dark horse pick.

It just occurred to me that the first 3 guys I mentioned will all be in their 30's next season. NBA needs some new faces.

Lebron is going to be 36 years old next year. Durant already took over the best NBA player title from him the recent 2 seasons, I fail to see be can reclaim this even after Durant went down.

LeBron will be 35. I wouldn't count him out, even last season he didn't really show any signs of slowing down. He just hit the injury bug and played on a crappy team. Give him some good players and make sure he is healthy and people will be on the bandwagon.

Im so nba'd out

I went with others. Giannis is a good choice but putting up full effort b2b years isnt easy(similar reasoning for not picking harden). Kawhi could definitely be the best come playoff time but i dont see any reason for him to gun for mvp and same for curry.

I could seriously see a big man like jokic or embiid winning it. Their team results will most likely be pretty great. 55+ wins and being a contender in the conference is certainly possible. Hell even Towns as a sleeper. If the twolves unload wiggins somehow, towns could go off scoring wise.

As long as he's healthy... Kawhi

Especially in the playoffs

Nikola Jokic
Joel Embiid
Steph Curry
Kawhi Leonard
Giannis Antetokounmpo

In this order. In one word: Jokic.

Steph has been #1 for a couple of years now and will remain in that spot barring significant injury.
