This show was so well put together. Based on a true story. This shit pissed me off so much. I wish the people who did this to them got what was coming to them.

Just terrible.

****ING terrible.

some of those guys admitted to hitting innocent people over the head with metal pipes .. they were fkn trash regardless of whether they were innocent of that particular rape .. they might as well have rotted in prison .. would've been justified

Come on, man.

Never did I hit people over the head with a metal pipe when I was a kid.

Cause you know, I was raised right and I didn't want to kill people.

Generally in jail or in prison is where people who commit crimes belong.

lol gtfoh .. kids know right from wrong .. are they just kids too if they break into your house and rape and murder your daughter ? lol being kids means shit .. you shouldn't be absolved of shit because you're not '18' ffs .. swinging metal pipes at peoples' heads is some violent, disturbing shit .. that's basically attempted murder(if you don't end up killing them which is a good possibility) ..

that reminds me of this case where this child, I believe he was 12 at the time or around that age, killed his pregnant mom .. they held him as a juvenile for a little while and then released him .. years later he raped and killed this lady who he knew .. I think it was a family member .. an aunt but I'm not sure .. that little boy should have never been let out into society after he did that to his mother ..that little fker had the devil inside him and it never left

If you look at the evidence of this case, it’s clear that these guys were obviously guilty. The one guy whose DNA they actually had decided to say it was only him. Typical “don’t snitch” shit.

These guys were in the park that night attacking people. They beat the shit out of the female jogger and held her down and groped her while their friend raped her. They knew details about the attack that only the people involved would have known and they confessed and some of them even snitched. The jury that saw the case convicted them due to them clearly being guilty.

Anybody who thinks these guys were innocent didn’t look at the case at all.

I agree.

But have them go to jail for those crimes, not for something they didn't commit.

If you do the crime do the time.

The documentary, and now this mini-series are both quite powerful and incredibly depressing. Definitely worth the watch, but it's not an easy watch. It's difficult to see these young men imprisoned for something they didn't do, and unfortunate to see the persistence of lies and misinformation even after they have been exonerated.

Is the focus on court case itself or what?

Does it get graphic? I don't like rape scenes. I watched Clockwork Orange, and I will never forget the rape scenes - they are like glued in my head. I can deal with them but I prefer to be ready for them if they are real graphic so I can fast-forward a bit
