I guess Warriors 2015 and 2018 championships are asterisked too with how injured the Cavs were in 2015 finals and CP3 getting injured in the WCF last season

They force game 7 with Klay.

What a horrible product the NBA put out.

These ridiculous 7 game first rounds, AAU ball, too many regular season games, allowance of steroids, etc.

Destroying these players.

2015 for sure, and definitely 2016

I don't know, Klay already dropped 30 that game. But yeah, I totally agree that Warriors had this game if he stayed in.

Biggest asterisk finals for this decade.

2015 and 2019.

One of the more legit rings. When Curry's stacked roster was brought down to size he showed his true colors. :applause:

it's about time GSW got down a peg

no one beats a full force GSW, injuries just evened the odds

When you put all the best players on one team that's an asterisk of itself

Golden State was playing at home with the crowd and the momentum. They still would have kicked Portland and Houston's Azzes tonight. Even without Klay (who did play and scored 30) and without KD.

But Toronto's defense and heart Won the game.

Injuries are part of the game. No asterisks. Credit where it is due.

And props to the Golden State Warriors for battling like champs and keeping it classy.

Sure injuries are part of the game. But if the end result would have been different had there been no injuries, then it's the very definition of an asterisk title.

Oof, the desperation to bring 2016 into this is wholesome. Tell me, where does it hurt? Three years should be long enough to heal the pain, but you still haven't recovered. :(

How mad are you that it’s unanimously accepted that 2016 is an asterisk title?
:lol

You keep clinging onto this concept of elapsed time which has nothing to do with the fact that it is an asterisk title. :applause:

Thinking Cousins had a positive contribution this series would make you a dumb casual fan. His defense was atrocious, he looks like a 40 year old Shaq out there, no mobility whatsoever.

I didn't say he had a positive contribution, nor is that the point. But nt.

Klay played 32 minutes tonight and only missed 1 game, just like Dray in 16'

So why the overhyping of asterisks?

A player misses 1 game and it's an asterisk?

Gross finals.

Great on court product.

Absolutely terrible seeing a team lose 65ppg and still almost eek out a win.

Congrats to Raptors fans. For NBA fans, we were robbed.

Clearly he wouldn’t have scored any more points if he remained in the game and was not injured.
Durant's quarter of play offsets Klay missing a few minutes tonight

And the Raptors didn't eek this out in 7 like lebron in 16' - lebron needed Dray to get suspended to win in 7

whereas the raps won this series easily - Klay made no difference - an impactless jumpshooter
