They are without a doubt the worst team to ever win a championship
Pascal Siakam looks like he hasnt ate in 5 days... how the hell would this guy guard guys like Tim Duncan, KG, Dirk, Gasol, or KD? You got two midgets in the backcourt, and Danny Green hasnt hit a shot in a month
Congrats to the Raps? But dont act like this isnt an extremely weak era

The weakest team to win a ship was 2011.

Come to think of it, the Raptors are probably the worst championship team this decade. Not taking anything away from them, it should just tell you how stacked teams were this decade. LeBron joining Miami changed everything.

2011 is still this decade.

that's great OP. yeah we definitely had luck but so did the warriors every year. plus they still had curry/dray/iggy every game and klay most of the series and yet the two games we dropped were by one possession.
either way we still won 16 games can't tell me shit. :pimp:

2011 Mavs and 2019 Raptors are without a doubt the most underwhelming champs this decade.
2012-2013 Heat
2014 Spurs
2015 Warriors
2016 Cavs
2017-2018 Warriors
Those were some insanely good teams. With the 2017 Warriors being the GOAT team. Even the 2010 Lakers were pretty good.

curry missed a big three for the win dude I'm sorry you had to see that at the end of the game. it was a pretty clean look too.

nah I'd the put the 2015 warriors in the same category as the raps and mavs.
I definitely agree that the 17-18 warriors and heat are a cut above. the heat would feast in today's league that's a godly small-ball team. back then bosh was getting punished by centers but they'd get away with it now.

Even if they are the worst, they are still something that every team this season wishes they were. The NBA champions. :applause: Sometimes, things just go your way.

Warriors won 67 games in 2015, 73 the next year with the same cast. Same category as the Raps and Mavs? Lol.
You guys just struggled to beat the 2015 Warriors with worse depth and with Klay being in and out of games.
teams that have still never won a ring:
suns
clippers
jazz
nuggets
pacers
nets
wolves
magic
hornets
grizzlies
pelicans
toronto just crossed themselves off the list.
doubt they care if they're the best or worst to ever win it because they just joined a new list: teams that have a championship banner.

What happened this year when Durant got hurt? :oldlol:
Rockets would have choked either way.

Thanks for making the 20th thread on the subject instead of just posting in one of the other threads. Why does every moron here have such a trumped up opinion of himself that he has to make his own thread instead of post in an already established one? This is particularly amusing considering OP and the most of the rest are all complete and utter retards when it comes to knowing anything about basketball in the first place.

The Rockets were the real best team in the league last year and the Warriors capitalized off of their injuries. Facts.

From a personal team perspective, a win is a win no matter what.
From the player stan arguing on a forum perspective, context will have to be applied.
Raptors probably would've lost to a few Cleveland teams...that the warriors wiped the floor with.
The only difference is this time they were 100x more injured.

Rockets finished the season with a 20-4 record and looked every bit as good as last season after the All-Star break. Using the CP3 injury as an excuse died the moment the Rockets got their ass handed to by the Warriors without Durant, on their home floor I might add.

Klay played 33 minutes tonight - so he missed a few minutes, but Durant's quarter of play in Game 5 offsets that easily
Ultimately, Klay missed one game just like Dray in 16'
But the Raptors didn't eek this out in 7 like lebron in 16' - lebron needed Dray to get suspended to win in 7
whereas the raps won this series easily - Klay made no difference - an impactless jumpshooter

Of course 90% chance that the Warriors would win it all with a healthy Durant, but I feel the Raptors are not getting enough credit due to this last game. Klay Thompson had an insane game, and then got hurt and since people tend to be prisoners of the moment they interpret that as though the Warriors were up 3-0 and then lost four in a row. The Raptor's won game one. They could have easily won game two. Then in the last game Nick Nurse calls a time out after Leonard was on fire.
With a little bit more luck they could have swept Golden State, preventing more injury to KD and Klay.

I'm not referring to the regular season I just don't feel the 15 warriors are as good as the heat or the b2b warriors.

they definitely won more games I just think in a series those teams match up pretty evenly.
whereas they're outclassed by a b2b warriors or heatles small-ball lineup of kd/curry/klay/dray or wade/allen/james/bosh.
thanks man will do.

2011 is still this decade.
Nah you're just ignorant. 2011 Mavericks were on pace for 60+ wins in the regular season before Dirk was injured for a 10 game stretch and Caron Butler went out. They were an elite team.
Dirk was at the tail end of his prime and locked in. Rest of the team had great depth and top notch veterans. They beat a feisty Blazers team, the defending champion Lakers, the up and coming Thunder, and the Miami Heat. All those teams were fully healthy. The Heat had chemistry issues but Bosh, Lebron, and Wade were all in their primes (probably last year of prime Wade, who was phenomenal in the Finals).
Worst team may be 2010 Lakers, whose best player was Pau Gasol.
What happened this year when Durant got hurt? :oldlol:
Rockets would have choked either way.
