Two of the worst leg injuries to guys who were on the same core and two of like the top 5 free agents. Huge impact on the league. Lesser players are going get overpaid now imo, there

The Dynasty really is over...wow
edit - idk how long acl tears keep ppl out but im guessing 10 months?
Does everyone get that if KD opts in the Warriors will basically be playing with a limited salary?
Klay is getting the Max + KD opts in = 55+ million.....Thats like almost 60 million in dead injured cap space.
KD can really fk them over if he wants too lol

So was Durant, now they're both out for a year.
Nah, Klay only out 9 months at most. He'll be back before 2020 playoffs.
Chances are Durant is out for a full year. Warriors are done for next year......
Not if Myers is smart and does what I tell him to do - sign Tobias Harris, trade Dray to NOP for #4. Can still make playoffs next year at least and have the future set for the next 4-6 years.

Yeah. Agreed with the post above. An ACL surgery operation for a dude as in shape as that won't sideline him for a long time. He'll be back just before the playoffs next year.
KD on the other hand...

This sucks for him and is going to change the league for the coming year but I'm sure he's gonna be fine impact-wise, offensively at least.
As long as he's catching and shooting it's gonna be butter, never really played much in the post anyway.

That's a good point. And all the wear and tear of 5 past seasons. But -- it was ultimately a freak injury caused by a foul that knocked him off balance and caused an awkward landing. Could happen to anyone at any time.
Best of luck to Klay and Durant - the basketball gods were not kind this year. :(

They gotta sign Klay and Durant for the long run, and then somehow try to luck out on strengthening their bench. I hope KD doesn't screw them. I think he could feel the love and respect from the team, the ownership, and the fans after he tried to play and tore his achilles heel. Who knows, Klay is almost certain to come back. Durant? 50/50. But a month ago, I'd say he was more likely than not to leave. Always a silver lining... :D
If they have to sacrifice winning next year to get their stars back, they have to do it. Everyone knows they can beat any team if they have Durant, Curry, Klay, and Green healthy and playing.
Yo that's crazyyyy dynasty over lmaoo

The NBA is so wide open now. Hasn't been this optimistic since before 2011. Really bummed about Klay though. I thought he could find another team and really flourish as a true #1 scoring option. He should bounce back well though, and I expect him to push the medical staff if he gets paper this off-season

Really sucks for Klay but the idiots on here blaming green are emotional tards. It was a hella clean play. It was a block if you go by hand is part of the ball and guys try for come from behind blocks all the time successfully.

Green went hard for the block. Nothing dirty there. It's the finals.....what else was he supposed to do? I feel awful for Klay....I don't wish that injury on anybody.
A lot of people like to hate on the Warriors, I was rooting for Toronto, but this is pure, bad luck to have two players go down with ACL injuries. If they sign both, they'll be way over the cap with no play from both to show for it next year.
Plus with all those deep playoff runs, the Warriors easily have probably played an extra season's worth of games....the miles are adding up.

I hate Klay and have always thought he was so overrated. But after seeing him running the hallways after that injury and trying to get back into the game to help his team, he gained some respect from me.
klay is a baller deadly shooter clutch as **** great defender and proved again that he's tough last night. probably the best shooting guard in the game. get well buddy.

This isn't really a big deal as it really won't affect him all that much. A torn ACL means more if you are a player who relies on making explosive movements off the dribble. Klay can't dribble anyway and everything he does is off ball so he'll have no fall off regardless of how much spring he gets back in the knee. I suppose, though, it could heavily affect his defense as he's basically known as a one on one defensive guy and not a particularly noteworthy help/team defensive player. (which is much more important and why I find him overrated defensively in general) Offensively, though, he should pretty much be the same exact player.
