Ugh, I would hate if we gave him the supermax. Kyrie better come back to his daddy.
I think this is going to get Kyrie to the Lakers

I'd go for 3&D players rather than paying Kemba.

yep. they need 3pt shooting to surround Bron and AD.

Interesting how it went where nobody wants lakers to multiple guys who are interested suddenly joining them. However would u want a Kemba or butler or a couple guys who are tier below like Bogdonovich

Lebron will be the 3rd best player at most next season
Better hope Kuzma doesn't have a breakout season or he might see some bench time.

If I'm the Lakers I'd round out the roster with young vets who can play and know their roles.

By cut, he means the max instead of supermax.

Lakers need guards that can shoot and play defense. Not sure if Kemba fits that description.
They should go hard after Beverley. Bet he wants to stay in sunny california. He could take a lesser deal.

This is great news for Mavs.
For some insane reason they are rumored to be interested in Kemba:facepalm
Go get Vuc and Bojan.

I would almost rather sign Beverly and reddick splitting the remainder up than sign Kemba or butler by themselves.
Beverly, Reddick, Lebron, Kuzma, AD is perfect blend of offense defense shooting..

sorry but I like Rondo....
Walker is a shooter, but lack of height makes him a liability on Defense.

Yeah torn on it would take Rondo if they had a reddick at SG..

Would be a bad move, a thrid star is the LAST THING the Lakers need.
They need an actual team with shooters/defenders and a competent center.

Do not want Redick. Big liability on defense.
He'll get overpaid by some desperate team like the Kings anyway.

Like this move. By acquiring Kemba instead of a legit 3rd star they will be able to fill out the remaining roster

I would not add this guy to the Lakers.. They would scuk with Kemba. The Lakers need to add Beverly. He can defend and play off the ball and with the ball when needed.

Kemba would be a huge mistake.

YOU ARE CORRECT.. They need a team that can win even if Bron is hurt. A team that can go 17-5 if Bron is injured.. Another all star is not a smart move. Get two or three players that can play basketball..

Beverley can be gotten for full mle (like 6.5m/yr). He made only 5m last year. Imagine a Butler/Beverley backcourt
Then use the veterans minimum for those ring chasing vets like Vince Carter.

Uhh, what?
Vince has been playing for bottom feeders like the Kings and the Hawks...wouldn't exactly call that "ring chasing." :facepalm

Beverly would be a difference maker anywhere but I dont see him taking a tiny deal. Hes got career earnings of 20 million with half of that gone to taxes. Hes 30. This has to be his money contract. He needs to take the most he can get. Hes barely even got rich forever money IF he takes care of it and has spent almost none so far. 10-12 million net for the next 40-50 years? Hes gonna get an NBA pension but still....hes not rich the way we think of athletes being rich. Hes like....good dentist rich going forward. Hes gotta use this deal to set himself up forever. In his position im not taking less to win. Im going to whoever offers the most even if it means winning 26 games next year.
