aren't they the better player???.. :biggums:

Accordingly:

Players who are better than Bron based on superior ability to win 1-on-1 and 5-on-5:

MJ
Wilt
Kobe
Kareem
Shaq
Duncan
Durant

Did I miss anyone and who else would be at least arguable in both areas??... Kawhi?.. Russell?.. maybe Hakeem or prime Wade?

They won 6 rings?

No, they didn't, so mj was better at 5-on-5

And none of them could "destroy" MJ in 1-on-1, so ur wrong on all fronts.. what else is new..

all of those guys are centers. At an alltime great level. They absolutely destroy Mj. He wouldn't be able to stop a single score.

Lebron weighs 250 lbs to MJ's 216. He also has 2 inches over him in height.

MJ is slightly faster, and jumps slightly higher.

LBJ is going to slash past him, post him up and shoot fadeaways. LBJ can straight up shoot jumpers in MJ's face.

MJ can also shoot jumpers in LBJ's face.

LBJ has done some notoriously filthy blocks.
MJ hasn't.

^^^ If only it was that simple

1-on-1 among high level players depends on who gets the ball first, as 1-on-1 is make-it-take-it

Ultimately, no one can stop anyone's go-to moves

If MJ gets the ball first, or Shaq misses a jump hook, it's over - MJ will score 11 in a row

So again, MJ wouldn't get "destroyed" by anyone in 1-on-1, and no one is beating his ability to win 5-on-5

what makes you think Shaq would ever shoot a jump hook against Mj?

What makes you think Bill Russell would give Mj any soft foul he'd call?

What makes you think Mj would ever be within a foot of one of Kareem's skyhooks?

What makes you think Mj could possibly do anything against Wilt in a 1 on 1 setting?

Yes Mj could score but he's not getting any dunks vs. guys like that. They'd just swat him out of the sky, he'd have to pretty much rely on the jumper and it'd be significantly less efficient and effective than what those guys would do to him. Real world bro. No weak fouls, no 5 second back down rule. no 3 seconds.

Jordan's scoring frequency on lebron would be higher than vice versa

Lebron has no post game and his post attempts would look clumsy and he'd miss a lot

Anytime MJ got the ball, he'd score a bunch in a row in graceful fashion.. then lebron would clumsy it up for a bucket or 2... Rinse repeat

Bigs can't guard mj's jumper or his drive.. you know that

No one had more posters on bigs than MJ, but he wouldn't need it because he'd blow by them for easy layups and dunks

No one had more crazy, hangtime finishes in traffic than MJ, but again, he'd be scoring on bigs easily and wouldn't need it

It's not even close

You sound like you never seen MJ, even on youtube

That was one of MJ’s specialties. Shitting on centers. He was so GOAT he didn’t even need a good center to 3 peat.
Exactly

He infact dominated the golden era of big men... as a SG.. changed the game from a big-man game to perimeter players' game

sdot simply gets owned on this one
- he brought up the exact thing that MJ is known for - dominating bigs and the big men era

sdot_thadon

he excelled in shitting on centers who weren't his primary assignment. 1 on 1 is a completely different world. I'm not sure either of you have ever played. Nothing would stop any of those much larger guys from backing Mj down for however long it took to put up a bunnie each time. Yes they would have a tougher time guarding him out on he perimeter but why would they. They'd let him shoot and if he made em he made em but if he ends up on defense game over. Just too small for elite bigs. You guys think because he bullied Kwame Brown that he could handle Wilt? And this isn't even saying he'd lose each time out, just that he'd lose as much as anyone without refs or structure. You guys are real deal groupies.

Far more likely they stop him than the other way around, cause y'know..... size. I don't need to say much more unless you want to add caveats like the bigs playing out of prime and Mj being in his absolute prime.
Ur just wrong - bigs can't guard guys like Wade, MJ, Kobe - and posters are easier in 1-on-1 because it's impossible for the big to stay in front.

I remember dunking over Zach Randolph 4 times in a row using the same basic move. A hesitation left and blow-by, one dribble and dunk.. 4 times in a row I caught him.. too slow

But again, the 1-on-1 is just part of it - no one is better at team play except Russell, who MJ stomps 1-on-1

And btw, bigs like Wilt/Kareem/Shaq have a huge size advantage on lebron too, so it's moot... MJ and Kobe would destroy lebron 1-on-1, while also being better at 5-on-5.. so they're better... :confusedshrug:

oh yeah zach randolph definitely compares to all time elite bigs in their respective pimes:rolleyes: and yes they'd enjoy the same albeit smaller size advantage over Lebron you numb skull that was my point in the 1st place.

No, you spent several posts deflecting and avoiding the point

Lebron is a worse 1-on-1 and 5-on-5 player than Kobe/MJ, and is therefore an inferior basketball player

Now go ahead and avoid the point like you've been doing
