I was going to post something similar. When there's some "NBA teams vs Euroleague/NCAA teams" debate going on, one argument that supposedly ends the conversation is how stacked with talent are even bottom NBA teams, since they boast lots of high lottary picks. Yet, this leaves aside teams without any impressively high picks that perform vastly better, like the Raptors, the Warriors and the Spurs (aside Duncan, of course, but...Parker, Manu, Kawhi). This isn't to say that NBA teams aren't better or even that high picks don't matter, but basketball IQ matters more. Getting high picks and having them play stupid hero ball isn't going to get you anywhere, except if the rest of the league gets equally stupid and decides to follow suit.
