How long before the NY media eats Kyrie up and spits him out like the 2nd coming of Stephon Marbury?

Better to be either really good or really bad in the NBA. Mediocrity is death for a franchise.

Also, Cavs won the trade.

Celtics have extremely young players that now will get all the playing time they need to develop. Maybe one day Cav's will get a player as promising as Tatum

Sucks that Kyrie is going to join that Nets team and disrupt what they established building. Maybe I'll be wrong and they'll be really competitive, I don't know. I hope I'm wrong.

Sucks for Boston

That team should’ve been ready to compete for a long time

They were competing, until injecting playoff Kyrie into their formula

shout out to Isaiah and Rozier

:lol :lol :lol if the Celtics make the ECF and Kyrie misses the playoffs with Brooklyn. (He absolutely will have to carry that team and he isn't capable of doing that)

BR has reported that if Irving is signed by the Nets, they will shop D.Lo since quite obviously both are ball dominant guards.

other wise youd get another Harden CP3 situation.

between DLo and Irving, they should keep DLo.

Why would he disrupt it? The celtics actually played better after Kyrie went to the media about the team. 10 game win streak after Orlando loss where he complained about not getting the last shot. They also had a solid record after he went to the media after 10-10 start. There's no stats that backup that he disrupted the Celtics last season. Media created bullshit. The media hates Kyrie because he's a free thinker challenging conventional thinking. Hes not a cancer. The media is the cancer

Horford is gone too. Basically Kyrie told them to suck his balls and have fun with Hayward.

Boston went from future dynasty to development team real quick:oldlol:

:biggums:

Kyrie thinks the World is flat and is a card carrying member of the tin foil hat club.

With that being said, the Celtics won only 49 games, which is just god awful for a team that loaded. Dude just doesn't have the level of impact of some other great players.

I'd rather have Kevin Love's massive contract than Gordon Hayward's.

Work out a sign and trade of Irving for D'Lo and then sign Julius Randle with Horford's money (if Al doesn't come back). (Wow, 2 former Lakers, lol).

Then draft 2 players who can contribute something off the bench.

Oh, and get rid of Rozier. Bring in Rondo or Rubio to back up D'Lo.

That's it.

It's Brooklyn. There's no media in Brooklyn except millennial journalism startups :oldlol:

Let's not forget that Paul George wasn't himself the first year after the same injury and is now playing better than ever.

Can the Celtics at least win as much as they did last year? Yes, we expect Tatum and Brown to get better as players, Rozier is so-so but we do have to give him credit for the first two series in 2018.

Their issue is Horford, who opted out of his contract. He was arguably their MVP in the 2018 Playoffs, so they better come back and give him a big offer or they won't be any better than they were this year.
The talk right now is that Horford is gone. The Celtics were going to give him the years but not at the number he wants. Wouldn't stun me if he takes less total money for the same number of years with a team that's positioned better to win it all next year.
