Now that Barnes is opting out, Sacramento could absorb his salary.

Got to love nba teams who offer big contracts and after a year or two trade or look to trade them.

Same thing happens in the NFL to quarterbacks. The highest paid quarterbacks the last 10 years have never won' a Superbowl the year they were the highest paid. The closest was Brady, but they lost to the Giants that year. 7 out of the 10 times they don't even make it to the NFC or AFC Championship game.

yeah because right after singing the huge contract we absolutely knew he would suffer basically a career ending injury :facepalm

Hayward's success was thanks to Snyder. He sucks.

So, you know, there was this injury...

Injury aside, there's nothing Hayward excels at. He benefited from a system designed to maximize his ho-hum skills. Ainge paid for gold, received copper instead.

he could be Celtics focal point with Tatum being his side kick.

TBH now that tunnel vision Kyrie is out of the way, and after a summer to work out and strenghten this knee, i believe we'll see more of 2016-2017 Hayward

and Ainge won't trade him for nothing if he believes he is still any good

If there's any system Hayward would excel in, it would be Brad's. We saw glimpses of what Hayward can do, we just couldn't get it consistently because of the injury and the egos on the team. It's tough to judge many players as a whole because of how dysfunctional this season was.

Suffered a career ending injury, unfortunate for him and Celtics.

Nothing to regret, just a bad luck injury. Nobody could predict and nobody could prevent.
