Do you think nba players take vitamins? I never know if a vitamin is working. So controversial. They say if you eat a balanced diet you don’t need a vitamin but then the spiel is that our soil is depleted so we must replenish by taking a multi.
But a long time ago I was doing this program at a health center and they gave us these mega dose vitamin packs. Maybe it was a placebo but I felt so healthy. As soon as I took the vitamins I was in a different mood. Loved the smell of the vitamins too.
Now I want to buy them again and start taking them for the nostalgia. Vitamins are like a good luck charm for me. Just feel better about myself when I take them. But what I’m worried about is I read taking large amounts of fat soluble vitamins like E is dangerous because the vitamins can stay in your body for a long time, causing toxicity.
So the question is, is it okay to use the mega dose vitamin packs once in a while just to create my own placebo? Or is it better to use the basic vitamins that have the daily recommendations like 20 or 30 IU of Vitamin E as opposed to 400 IU.
I also like the vita packs at the gas stations called Ultra Start, made my Fresh Start Vitamins. But sometimes when I take them my stomach feels upset, even after I take them after food. I hope the fat soluble ones don’t just stay in your body. I know that the water soluble vitamins come out through the urine.
I honestly don’t know if vitamins help you in the long run, but they’re fun to collect and take.
