Tmac, a guy with one of the greatest peaks in NBA history in 2003 delivering truth bombs.

It's too much. :applause:

TMac's weak back would be broken in half by these physical modern defenses.

Why does Rachel Nichols always play it overly safe with every talking point? It's all cutesy bullshit with her.

Physical and modern defences should never be used in the same sentence. I'm assuming your just being sarcastic though

I think McGrady could easily drop 50 a game.

Kobe would REALISTICALLY be around 60.

Wilt? Easy 100 per game.

If we are basing the defense on being that weak then MJ's dropping 70 a game.
He'd just develop a 3 pointer just like he developed every other aspect of his game he sucked at when his HS coach put him on JV. :applause:

Sure, I could see '03 TMac averaging 35 for a season or two. He's not gonna be doing it year after year though.

We have seen Kobe in today's NBA without hand checking and with the 3ball spacing. He averaged 35%fg and 37%fg respectively while leading his lakers to 19 and 17 wins.

No doubt about it. 2006 Kobe in a D'Antoni offense would break a 100 and T-Mac would easily average 35-40 ppg for a season on a bad team. T-Mac and Kobe are so much more offensively skilled than any superstar in today's league.

Westbrook averaged 32 and his offensive game is pretty damn limited.

Trying to Imagine dudes like Tmac or Kobe in THIS ERA where you can't touch them off the dribble AND they have sharpshooters on the perimeter

You've seen them in this era. Kobe only just retired in 2016. He was averaging 35%fg shooting.

Are you arguing that Kobe in his prime was ever efficient?:oldlol: he played against the no hand checking defense and never hit 47%fg in any season.

He's just not as good as you want to believe he was, mi amigo. Lebron is flat out better.

The difference between 47% and 50% is .3 shots for every 10 shots.

Then take into account that Kobe garnered far more defensive attention and elevated teammates by not playing for box score assists.

Voila.

Kobe is better.

05-08 Kobe averaged a 56.9%TS

Lebron during that same timespan had a 56.3%TS, Wade 57.1%TS, Iverson 55.1%TS. NBA teams averaged ~54%TS during those seasons.

Today's NBA is just more efficient on paper due to eliminating a lot of the mid-range and low-post game, but Playoffs prove that you still need that part of the game to win titles.

He said "Kobe in his prime".

00-13 Kobe shot a ~56%TS and had a 57%TS in his 17th season before injury.

Kobe could definitely put up 100 in a single game in this era.

Michael could definitely average over 40 ppg in this era.

Without question. Like it’s not even debatable, it’s obvious to anyone who saw both players and watch this current era.

How many shots did he take to get 81? Or 62 in 3 quarters? Or 56 in 3 quarters. My point exactly. Don
