All contracts can be renegotiated or voided after the end of each season when initiated by the players and there is no salary cap.

This would give maximum freedom and pay to the players. But what sort of league would it be for the fans? Would you rather watch a league of player dominated super teams that reformed every year or two?

A lot of people would stop watching.

It’s only a super team with the acquisition of a select few players in the leagues

Anyone else it’s just an elite team

It would be chaotic and disastrous. Not only would most teams fold, we would see the end of fandom for one particular team. It's bad enough the way it is now, teams completely change from top to bottom in the span of a year. See my beloved Lakers. It hasn't even been a full year, yet only 1 player remains from June 24th, 2018. Do you understand how crazy that is?

It would be like college basketball. Not everyone would want to join the same team because it hurts their brand.

Steve Ballmer could outbid everyone though.

Im so nba'd out

Lebron's team would literally win every single year. They would also represent team USA in the Olympics, which they would also absolutely dominate.

trump fam would be in utter shambles cause the "no one wants to play with lebron" shtick would be out the door
