I'm still happy for Giannis overall, but the incompletion of it stings even more strongly: that he couldn't consolidate it with championship hardware. If it weren't for the ECF letdown, there'd be a golden opportunity to join a select pantheon of players who won both the regular-season and Finals MVPs in the same season.

Also, congratulations to Budenholzer for CoY. :applause:

What happened to the American players? Too damn soft now.

I would have voted for trigga, he was out there clutch alpha dogging winning games while donshit was sitting out..
If his slow start counts against him then so should fat boy sitting out.

Co ROY would have been acceptable also.

NBA should not really give 6th man awards. It is disrespectful to 2nd, 3rd ... option players. I mean is't Thompson more deserving of an award as 3rd man of year?:confusedshrug:

Euros are straight up gonna dominate the NBA going forward.

What we're seeing now is a decline in quality since the AAU and subsequently the NBA was taken over by "player coaches" who simply can't match the quality of European coaches.
