Current and former players have said this, it is easier to score now then ever and that's what the NBA wants, casuals want to see high scoring games and that's what the rules changes have done...EVERYONE KNOWS THIS, at least I hope so but that seems to have gone over OP's head

For a young player coming into his own and losing to a very good Bucks team 1-3 as a rookie and then losing 0-3 twice vs the legendary 80s Celtics? I would say it's to be expected. The Bulls weren't seen as a threat to those teams.

OTOH, prime LeBron getting swept twice in the Finals and a gentleman sweep along with losing by historical margins in his prime is worse.

And before you rag on about his stats and claim it wasn't his fault, well MJ put up godly stats vs the Celtics and lost...so it's not his fault either.
