I hate it when dumbasses keep talking about saving the environment by just shouting in a microphone or skipping work or school to do useless protests like blocking public transport.
That said, I fully support those who actually make a productive effort and come up with solutions, this British company has developed persihable packaging like edible water containers to replace their plastic counterparts:
They have been promoting their products in sports events, lately in London marathon and Roland Garros:

Great product. I believe there was another company doing something similar, but it's good to see companies coming up with great ideas and implementing feasible and reasonable solutions.
Bill Gates has been throwing money behind some great technological solutions as well, including the Janicki Omniprocessor (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVzppWSIFU0) that filters wastewater into pure, drinkable water and a CO2 capture plant (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHX9pmQ6m_s) that captures and removes CO2 from the atmosphere.

Someday we are going to pass a law that requires everything intended to be "disposable" (like packaging) MUST be bio-degradable ...or at least easily recycleable.

people talk about how the earth is 70% water, but they don't mention the saltiness of the ocean.
It would be nice if my remote controlled suitcase is brainless to operate

I'd be salty as well if the whole population of earth dumped their plastic in my lap.

There's no way this will be adopted as edible.
People aren't going to pick up something sitting on a table & just put it in their mouths... unless it's packaged in a plastic container. :oldlol:
