Which ring will be the bigger asterix?

2015 had Love and Irving missing in the Finals

2019 had KD and Klay missing in the Finals

How would Kawhi done without Siakam AND King Lowry?

Why did Adam Silver suspend Curry's scoring to 22.6 :(

2015 imo. Losing without KD also shows that the 2017 and 18 rings taint Curry's legacy.

He averaged 21.5 when they were up 3-1 so that wasn't the problem.

2015 was an asterisk ring. Curry and the rest of the Warriors won against Lebron with no help whatsoever. Love was injured for the playoffs and Kyrie was injured for the 2015 NBA Finals.

In 2016 Curry couldn't win against a fully healthy Cavs team. He and the Warriors choked a 3-1 lead in the finals. He had to get KD for help. It proves that in the 2019 NBA Finals, Curry needed help desperately. Without KD they doomed.

It makes me question...what if the Warriors faced a healthy Cavs team in 2015. Would they win? Probably not. Whoa. If the Warriors lost in 2015 the KD trade would have never happened and we could have witnessed an exciting rivalry between GSW and Cavs instead of watching the boring finals in 17' and 18'.

It blows my mind.

Can you answer my questions: What if GSW faced a full-strength Cavs team in the 2015 NBA Finals? Would the KD trade happen?. Would there be a rivalry between GSW and Cavs?

I need your help, guys.

Imagine the 90's Bulls teams losing Pippen and Grant or Rodman in an NBA finals.

MJ would go off still...but no ring.

2019 easily. Cavs still had the best player on the team and floor with LeBron. Warriors lost the best player on the team and floor. They also lost Klay who is probably there second best player when you take his defensive impact into account

True but they still had LeBron who is the best player in the world and will go down as a top 5 ever and maybe best ever depending on what happens. There's a reason why teams will trade 3 or 4 really good players plus draft picks for one superstar. Warriors only had 2 guys who can score and both rely heavily on screens so if your defence is discipline enough they can be stopped or slowed down. Cleveland with Kyrie and love out were actually better defensively. They did a good job gaurding splash Bros in 15. If LeBron shoots 50% from the field cle wins that series. His lack of a jumper killed them.

This year with Klay and kd out warriors not only losed more offence than cle in 15 but they lost way more defence also. It's easily 2019

Pippen blew out his back in the ECFs, reaggravated in GM 6, played like a shell of his former self during those Finals (15.7 on 41%, MJ had to score more than double that)...Rodman's minutes were reduced, defensive liability Kukoc played more mins at PF) and basically was just relegated to bothering the Mailman...

You've been a pathetic troll for the past couple of weeks.

Pippen and Rodman played the whole series, a series MJ would have lost especially if Pippen only played game 1 (like Kyrie). So that situation isn't even close to 2015 Cavs.

Besides, the NBA was near it's weakest point of the modern era in the late 90's. Neither those Bulls or Jazz teams would make the finals this decade.

Are we talking about the team that won 59 games with Demar the previous year? And then you replace DeMar for Kawhi, Gasol, and Green and expect what? :lol

Are we also talking about the same team that went 17-5 without Kawhi this year? LeBron has skewed our perception of Toronto for making them his whipping boy. They are a great team, period.

They killed it when the ball movement was spectacular. And he allowed his teammates to shine. One thing he didnt feel the need to do was hold the ball for 20 seconds before passing it to a shooter to make sure he got an assist. He was all about winning and just ended the GS dynasty.

It was amazing that Lebron was even up in that series with his 2nd option being
Mozgov. He had no chance.

2019 the warriors had a slim chance, but Curry choked once again in the playoffs. Even though GS was riddled with injuries and had a weaker/less deep team.. if ur that dude and want to be top 15 you carry the load..

The Bulls as a whole played great defense...Scottie played below his usual standards on offense, 15.7 ppg :confusedshrug:

Did he or did he not hurt his back and missed a large part of GM 6? MJ carried a larger share of the offense that series, he carried the Bulls to the title, making the series clinching shot, nice effort by Pip in the first four games but he didn't close it out, it was MJ...he doesn't make that iconic shot, they go to GM 7 in Utha and who knows what would happen.
