better than Horford
From being the glue and most important player to "worse than Capela"

Not surprised no free agents want to go play for fans like this. :lol

Kings should do it. They won't get any FAs, they have cap space, he's much better than Willie Cauley-Stein

Capela is overrated trash. All he's good at is catching lobs

Capela's contract is awful. $75 million over the next 4 years...Rockets got desperate when he was about to leave in free agency and severely overpaid their own guy. Tucker and Gordon can be easily moved though. Houston will probably want to attach Capela's awful contract with both of them though.

you need solid PGs to run pick and rolls for Capela. Otherwise, he is fairly pointless

Lakers should jump on getting PJ and Gordon if they don

kings and celtics are the type of teams I'm looking at. seems like dallas will just start powell next yr or even porzingis at center and will focus on a guard or wing

Just for space?

Somebody definitely should. He's on a good deal going forward and he's getting pretty under-rated right now.

What I don't understand about this is that if I'm the Sixers...I definitely want Gordon in any potential deal. He's on an expiring contract and he's really good in the type of role the Sixers would have him in.

Not sure why they'd want a future draft pick over Gordon for a team trying to win the title.

Also, I don't see how the Rockets could lose Tucker and think they are well suited to win the title.

I get turning Gordon/Capela into Butler.

Paul/Harden/Butler/Tucker...with a solid forward that can defend and shoot would be insanely good.

Well, yea...but so are a ton of players against the Warriors....and those Warriors might never be the same.

Capela isn't elite or anything, but he's a good player and after this summer...his contract is likely going to look very nice.

That trio would work in a number of ways, but would of course not be optimal. It would reduce, dramatically, the load in the regular season for all of them, but Harden especially. I personally think a team like the Rockets should operate on a load management type track and rest those guys 15 or so games each even when fully healthy.

Butler's defense would be a large improvement over Gordon and I think his ability to make plays would make up for the spot up shooting of Gordon they would lose.

Again, not perfect or optimal by any means, but a Butler/Paul 2nd unit squad in the playoffs and then Harden carrying a unit while they rest would be really interesting...and then the defense Butler brings would be really valuable.

They still need to fill out depth better than last year and find at least one more reliable 20 minute plus a night wing that can drill threes and defend.

But, I'd like the team a little more with Butler...and, lets be honest, forcing Harden/Dantoni to change the offense just a bit with this group would be a good thing.

That's a good contract considering how much Batum is getting paid.

You don't even have to compare it to a bad contract. After this summer when everyone gets paid in a huge way...and the cap increases again next summer...it is just going to be a good/fair contract.

Capela is getting under-rated. He could play 20 quality minutes on most contending teams in the league.
