Considering those draft picks turned into AD and LeBron this is literally the best outcome

Name a team that has drafted better players consistently for the past 5 years. The only one that comes to mind is Denver, their scouting department is A1 as well.
Jordan Clarkson
Julius Randle
Larry Nance
D'angelo Russell
Lonzo Ball
Brandon Ingram
Kyle Kuzma
Josh Hart
Thomas Bryant
Ivica Zubac
ALL (with the exception of Josh Hart) are starters around the league posting quality numbers. I think Clarkson may have been 6th man for Cleveland, but even so he averaged what 17ppg? 18?
And we're still yet to see if Mo Wagner will be any good, wasn't really given a shot this past season.

What does that have to do with anything? That's not the question you asked.

Considering AD was ours in free agency next year anyways, our last 5 tanked season lead by kobe were for zip, zero, niltch.
Everything so far has been built by the eye candy of Lebron, including FO and coach
Even Kuzma himself was essentially traded for Mozgov who was overpaid bc of who? LeBron
This is literally a rebuild year right now
Crazy

how tf did you in 2016 february know/assume LeBron would join the Lakers?
Many other teams had better odds and you didnt make an acc for them.

Blue - starters either with LAL or around the nba.
Green - quality backup.

He literally has an account for every team just in case...you do realize that....
Besides, it was heavily rumored in 2016 that lebron would come because of his son.

11 seed Lakers, average roster age 12yo, #2 opt suffering from annorexia
A 17 win 2016 Lakers tank squad was his top priority after beating a 73 win team? F’n GOAT if I say so myself

Really cannot take credit for Ingram, Ball, Russell, Randle. They're all obvious lottery picks. A monkey could've picked them.
They did really well with draft though. The best being Kuzma at 27th pick. Hart, Nance, Clarkson, Zubac were also very solid picks although not spectacular.
superduper

It's actually incredible how Kobe was able to persevere and carry this chit franchise to greatness for a decade.
Absolutely incredible.
