I thought the 80's and 90's were SO physical that today's players couldn't cut it?
Steph would be a ball boy and Lebron would be a 15ppg scorer in those decades?
So how did Mugsy at 5'3", 130lbs make it? Not only that, but he STARRED in the original Space Jam.

Ah, so being really good means you can make it in any era. Imagine what a superstar could do in any era?
Got it, thx.

How did he play?
He had one of the best turnover ratio of all time. He ran the offence well and was a defensive pest. He'd disrupt the team's offence by putting pressure on the ball handler by picking them up full court and disrupting their dribbling. He was also extremely sneaky and would get tons of steals due to his size and speed. Players simply didn't see him coming and he'd get steals either on the players or roaming. He'd also create tons of opportunities for his team by penetrating and finding gaps in the offence.
He had a high IQ, was very strong and was extremely quick.
There have been short players throughout the history of the league, he wasn't the only one.

Today's players could play in any era. I don't know who would say that but using mugsy as as an example is dumb. JJ barea was was a major part to that Mavs championship team that beat brons loaded heat squad and he's not much taller than mugsy. JJ is listed at 5'10 but it's widely known he's much smaller than that. He's 5'6 at best

No dude. I've stood face to face with him. He's at least 5'10 w/o shoes.

Nate Rob is 5 foot 7. That is a generous 5 inches assuming that Mugsey was actually 5'2.
Also Boykins got a 50 point game in 2010 I believe for the bucks. It always blew my mind that Boykins could bench press 140kg. Black genetics can be ****in insane.

it's a sport where while the scoring is high the average FG% is less than
50% with the shape of a ball designed where your FG% without being guarded is in the 80%
Besides me sounding like this is a standardized test. How did God himself - Michael Jordan retired?
