It would be funny if he's trolling the Lakers, so they can't sign any FA. Then supermax with the Raptors.

If he is giving them an interview, I think that he is considering it. Let's wait and see.

why would it be a heel turn? Kawhi has earned the right to do anything he pleases.

Not even close.

KD was liked by EVERYONE.

Most people don’t care about Kawhi.

And KD joined a 73 win team.

Kawhi would join a clean slate.

LeBron was also loved by everyone prior to the Heat. I repeat... nobody really cares about Kawhi on that level. His personality is too low key for what you’re talking about.

This isn't 2018. Time to walk up stairs and venture out of the basement.

Oh?

Tell me where are all of the Kawhi fans like the droves of LeBron fans, KD fans and Steph fans on this board?

Most of the people that root for Kawhi just started doing so as of the Finals, lmao. And there still are only a few of them.

There are less than 5 people on this board that were Kawhi fans prior to the past 30 days.

Nobody cares about Kawhi.

Biggest Kawhi stan here dafuq?

And you're dumb to think that just because Bleacher Report/ESPN/Instagram comment sections don't care about Kawhi that nobody does. Kawhi is THE hottest player in the NBA right now. He has proven he is a superstar capable player.

Let's say KD and Klay don't get hurt. And GSW ends up with it's 4th ring in 5 years. That's a SUPERTEAM that is still terrorizing the league! ALL GUYS strong in the primes of their careers. Let's say KD and Klay BOTH STAY in GSW as a result of that. A potential Bron-AD-Kawhi superteam wouldn't catch NEARLY AS MUCH bitching and complaining! Because even a FOOL SHOULD know it could take a superteam to DEFEAT a team like GSW for a ring!

The KD and Klay injuries TOTALLY warped people's mind on this. Plus superteams have ALWAYS BEEN AROUND! People just have a problem with player mobility these days. Back in the day, the draft and trades built a lot of those teams. Even if Kawhi DOESN'T go to LAL, we are going to see other superteams pop at some point.

not as big as kd but pretty big. You cant get better in today's league talent wise for a big 3. We dont know how it'll turn out but that's what we know for now. as bizil said, gs when healthy still has a dominant big 4 however. CP3's gotta be one of the unluckiest dudes of all time

2010 LeBron is the biggest heel turn I've ever seen. Dude became unanimously disliked overnight after the decision. Outside of off the court shit, that's never being topped.

And Durant joining the Warriors is still easily worse than Kawhi joining 35 year old LeBron & AD

Damn right it is!!! There's no comparison between what KD did and Kawhi possibly joining the Lakers. And when it comes to superteam shit, SOMETIMES it's better to stay ahead of the curve. Because u never know when one could pop up. Some guys become superstars over time. It doesn't happen over night. So Kawhi needs to think about that. Kawhi and AD together for the next 7-8 years is an enticing situation. Even when Bron retires, those two could still be wreaking havoc together in the league! Kawhi DOESN'T need to play nice WHILE other superteams form around him! But I gotta admit 3 of the top 5 players in the world on the same team has NEVER been done before!

Which four players on the Warriors are "dominant"?

dominant together is what I meant and you knew that. Only KD/Curry are dominant individually true even though an outside case can be made for playoff draymond.

If you want me to admit this lakers big 3 is more dominant, I'm fine doing that however. It's still less of a heel turn because kawhi came off winning however. winning will make you infallible for some people.

Nobody cares about Kawhi.

Been a Kawhi fan since he joined the Spurs. Haven't mentioned it before because there was no need to. He plays the game the right way. Works his ass off, hard-nosed, team-oriented. The Spurs screwed up his injury situation and paid the price.

Kawhi worked hard in his first few NBA seasons to improve his shot. Yeah, he had a great shot coach, but he put in a ton of work on his own. He's led two underdog finals teams to the title, and I don't know how many other NBA players can claim that distinction.

Nobody cares about Kawhi? About as much as Kawhi cares about nobody. He doesn't need public affirmation. He doesn't need millions of dollars from selling insurance or underwear or hot dogs or whatever. He's the baddest man in the NBA, and whichever team he chooses to sign with will the favorites to win the title.

yep. and the only reason kd had the balls to do what he did is because of lebron setting the precedent with miami. I'm not saying the heat were the first super-team I'm just referring to the way they were formed.

honestly I might just become a full-time lebron hater if he successfully recruits kawhi. the guy goes around begging players to join his team and then just hogs the ball when they do. :oldlol:

Yeah honestly this shit is annoying af. Lakers don’t need Kawhi they could have easily built a team that would have been the favorites by signing good supporting players.

The Cavs never needed Love either. And Bosh was replaceable on the Heat. The last two times LeBron did this the 3rd guy could easily have been replaced by a lesser name because they just got so many less touches. Kawhi and AD are so much better tho.

and even the heat were a poorly constructed team with lebron and wade being redundant and not getting the full value of either player meanwhile sidelining bosh to play out of position to be a jumpshooting center that gets feasted on by other physical bigs.

plus he created the very warriors team that ultimately gave him several finals losses. he could've had more rings by now if he played things differently.
LeBron could have like 6 rings if he just had a good GM that built around him in Cleveland and ignored his requests.

he's not the orchestrator of all of these superteams trying to stack the deck to catch jordan in rings.

correct. if he found and committed to one team, a competent team like the heat.

when you commit to a team you attract free agents to play with YOU instead of going around and begging players to join your new team. lebron never did that in his prime. I remember the cavs struggling to get stars because they didn't want to be left hanging if bron bounced.
