He’s going to LA, it’s happening. Too bad Durant and Klay are injured can you imagine the epic rivalry battle of California the Lakers and Warriors would have? The league wants it, maybe we will have to wait til 2020

How do we fill out the rest of our roster, though? How much space would we have left if Kawhi were to sign?

Very easily fill up the roster with Jr Smith, Korver, Carmelo, Crowders etc

I dont see it working with LeBron and Kawhi. Kawhi as a spot up shooter at the end of the clock? sure. he wont be as effective.

I witnessed LeBron marginalize Wade. Either Bron or Kawhi will be marginalized. Theres only one ball.

No space unless he takes a paycut. it's the room exception and minimum guys.

this breakdown was pretty good [url]https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/c5j39e/oc_mocking_the_2019_free_agency_how_much_money_is//url] (ignore the predictions for top guys more relevant is how much money is left over for cheap guys)

Best case scenario where a lot of guys take paycuts. Room exception is like seth curry or darren collison and get like korver, demarre carroll gerald green etc on the minimum,

Edit: nvm on collison lol.

If Lakers get Kawhi, Id hope they would trade LeBron for their sakes.

no they aren't I'm just not seeing it. there's a meeting and lakers have the funds now so it's technically possible but I dont see it for one huge reason - kawhi seems like the least likely guy to join a superteam right now.

he can win anywhere he doesnt need to join the lakers and be a part of lecircus. in a couple of days it'll be raps or clippers watch. probably raps.

It's no guarantee. However, they could still be a contender without Kawhi. Sign some solid role players and shooters and they are as good as anyone

I have a feeling Kawhi isn't leaving Raptors.. Just a gut feeling

Lots of free agents that will be available for the minimum this summer.

Vets like Taj Gibson, Rudy Gay, DRose, Rubio, Wesley Matthews, Cory Joseph and DJ could all take the min to play on a contender. At worst they could bring back Lance McGee and Rondo.

They should retain Reggie Bullock. He'd be great insurance in case Kawhi or LeBron go down injured.

Another cheap good fit might be 28 year old Avery Bradley who is about to get waived by Memphis.

Defense first type of 2 guard that shot 39% from three land. 16ppg.

Find a bunch of Carlos Arroyos and Joel Anthonys in the D League.

Avery was so bad with the clippers last yr however but I take him over jr for the min. Wes Matthews on the room I think is solid, like a poor mans Danny green

They're going after Irving. Kawhi is Clipper-bound.

He's not a free agent. Bradley is tied up on a non-guaranteed contract.
