As a Rose fan, it's going to be hard to see him in Detroit, but I'm glad he's getting paid, and can showcase what he can still do.

Getting paid? This is chump change in the current league lol. Rudy gay is older and worse and signed for more than double that.

When fully fit, Rose is an elite guard in this league. The problem is as the season winds down he starts breaking down. But Rose on top of his game is the guy that literally abused the best defense in the league anchored by Rudy Gobert. Put the ball in his hands to run the pick and roll with Drummond and pick and pop with Griffin, and he is a 20 ppg 8+ apg guy unless he gets injured.

My fear, as a Pistons fan, is that Rose will be coming off the bench with the 2nd unit and won't be running a lot with those guys.

He is much better than Reggie Jackson. With Rose's injury issues, its smart for him to play around 28-30 minutes. Reggie would be a good guard off the bench. I think Rose signed to play as starter.

Of course he is. I've been begging them to get rid of Jackson for 4 years now. He is not a starting point guard in this league. And he's not a winner. But our coaches and front office, even with complete turnover, are still just morons. It's like RJ has them under a spell.

I have a feeling that Stefanski is waiting for the right time to get rid of him. I'm thinking maybe mid season when teams want cap space for the summer or want to blow things up, we'll be able to rid of him and snag something useful in return.
