Life as WWE wrestler his hard work. on the road all year every year. rarely spend quality time with the family. Getting injured in the ring on a weekly basis. ****'s rough out there. taking those bumps and bruises affects the wrestler physically can prove to effect he or she mentally as well.
still find it tough to swallow for hear Benoit's a killer.

I knew this would happen. Same people who were posting R.I.P. messages are now hoping he's "burning in hell?" Chill out. Don't spit on the man's grave without proof...you all are setting yourself up to look stupid. Innocent until proven guilty? Apparently not.
Maybe Cuz some people had no idea that it might have been him. so thats why people were saying RIP then Burn in HEll cuz I for one didnt kno at the time when i was saying RIP, then I found that out and if it is him then Burn in hell fool:mad:

Another article I'm reading doesn't say Chris was the killer but the killer was "within' the house." That could mean Nancy, his wife was the killer?
Some say he was the killer, but i dont think he had it in his nature to do it. He was to happy and much a family man, i would say his wife has done it more then him.

But there was no gunshot wounds or knife wounds... meaning the only way Nancy could have done it is maybe poision.... I doubt she could strangle Chris to death, any other ways should could have killed Chris if she did it?

Object to the head, poisen has been talked about alot. Word was his wife and son were coughing blood, whats to say his wife didn't poisen the son and herself and then Benoit found them dead. Then he killed himself because he couldn't live without them?

You still don't know. By all means, if police flat out prove it happened, by all means, I'll agree with you. Child killers belong in hell. Reacting on impulse isn't smart, ask the state attorney working the Duke lacrosse case. Fact is, there are 3 dead bodies. Death is always heartbreaking, don't make it worse by damning him simply due to speculation.

It's hard to believe Benoit did it, so it seems like you are stretching here.
I'm not saying he did do it, but it's more then likely that he did it.

I would assume medical examiners can tell from temperature of the body when each person was killed. And therefore would probably determine that the wife was killed before the son, and clearly that means that wife can't kill the son.

This is one persons report from TMZ, so it could be false considering the source..........My second cousin is an officer with GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigations) and what he's heard in his circle is that Chris Benoit's wife killed their son Daniel, called Chris and told him to rush home because of an emergency which is why he missed last Sunday's Vengeance PPV. Upon arriving home Benoit killed his wife in a rage for the death of his son and then killed himself Monday morning. His wife's body was found in the master bedroom, strangled with the cord from an alarm clock. The son's body was found in his room appearantly suffocated with a garbage bag. Chris then wrote a suicide note explaining what had happened, apologized to his family, his other children (from a seperate relationship), and his fans. He the fashioned a slip-knot noose from from rope taken from the garage and hung himself from the ballaster in the foyer of his suburban Atlanta home.

A look at the career of the "Rabid Wolverine"
Written: June 25, 2007
The sports-entertainment world has lost a Legend, as WWE is saddened to report that Chris Benoit and his family were found dead in their Atlanta-area home today. Benoit was 40 years old.
A trainee of the legendary Stu Hart, Benoit began his career in 1985 in Calgary after training with Stu and the Hart Family in the infamous Dungeon. Benoit idolized former World Tag Team Champion Dynamite Kid, and the high-flying style Benoit utilized throughout his career was influenced heavily by the British Superstar. However, his training in the Dungeon helped mold him into one of the best technical grapplers in sports-entertainment history as well.
Benoit competed for Stu Hart

I rather know a mofo is out to kill me because you are expecting it. And you might get paranoid when it doesnt happen, be on edge. But its better i think than a mofo be cool one sec and just snatches your life out of the blue. Like I wonder if his kid/wife had any clue. Was it just a normal day and inside his head he had this brewing? They going about thier daily life routine dad walks by, you think nothing of it and boom he's taking you out. They probably didnt evne put up a fight initially thinking he was playing...i dunno just assumptions.
But the point is that is scary as hell. Sad story indeed.

What if dude had a mental illness? I think you might wanna see dudes health history, mental state. That isnt given him an excuse but it keeps things in proper perspective because it wasnt just some Avg Joe who decided one day he felt like killing his wife, kid and then taking his own life. Investigators Wait for Autopsy Results in Pro-Wrestler Chris Benoit's Death
Last Edited: Tuesday, 26 Jun 2007, 9:46 AM EDT

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- Pro wrestler Chris Benoit canceled a pay-per-view appearance at the "Vengeance" event in Houston because of "personal reasons" a day before he, his wife and their 7-year-old son were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
Details of the deaths "are going to prove a little bizarre" when released to the public, Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Autopsies were scheduled Tuesday by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in DeKalb County.
Authorities were investigating the deaths at a secluded Fayette County home as a murder-suicide and were not seeking any suspects.
Investigators believe Benoit, killed his wife and son over the weekend and then himself sometime Monday. The bodies were found Monday afternoon in three different rooms of the house on Green Meadow Lane, in a subdivision off a gravel road about two miles from the Whitewater Country Club.
Video: Authorities Wait for Wrestler Chris Benoit, Family's Autopsy - FOX 5's Marc Teichner reports. Video portions courtesy of USA Network.
Ballard told The Associated Press a gun was not used in any of the deaths. But he declined to say how the three died.
"We're pretty sure we know, but we want to confirm it with the crime lab," Ballard said early Tuesday.
Fayette County Coroner C.J. Mowell did not return phone calls. The answering service for his funeral home said he was out of town.
World Wrestling Entertainment said on its Web site that it asked authorities to check on Benoit and his family after being alerted by friends who received "several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning."
Sheriff's Lt. Tommy Pope told WSB-TV that the three were found about 2:30 p.m., but he wouldn't release other details.
Stamford, Conn.-based WWE also said on its Web site it had been asked by authorities not to release further information on the deaths of Benoit, 40; his wife, Nancy, 43; and son, Daniel.
Benoit was born in Montreal. He was a former world heavyweight champion, Intercontinental champion and held several tag-team titles over his career. He was known by several names including "The Canadian Crippler."
"WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy," the company said in a statement on its Web site.
Benoit had maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct World Championship Wrestling.
The WWE canceled its live "Monday Night RAW" card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling telecast.
Benoit's wife managed several wrestlers and went by the stage name, "Woman," The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
They met when her then-husband drew up a script that had them involved in a relationship as part of an ongoing story line on World Championship Wrestling, the newspaper said.
Benoit has two other children from a prior relationship

Benoit Update: Text Messages To Chavo, More
06/26/2007 by Ryan Clark
CNN had a live report from just outside of the Benoit home earlier this morning. The investigator interviewed said they don't feel there is a "killer at large," but haven't ruled out that Benoit, wife Nancy, and son Daniel may have all been murdered although it is unlikely. The investigation team will spend most of the day at the Benoit home finishing up their on going investigation. The investigator said they would know more in a few days.
According to reports, Chris Benoit sent some curious text messages on Sunday to Chavo Guerrero. WWE's Vice President of Government Relations, Richard Hering, ended up calling the Fayette County sheriffs on Monday requesting they check the Benoit residence.

Japanese Legendary Legend Pays tribute to Chris Benoit
-Keiji Mutoh stated that he practiced with Benoit a lot in the New Japan gym/dojo and that he was a stoic character who had a rigorous training regiment. Mutoh said that Benoit never complained about anything (including injuries) and that the news of his death really surprised him. Shinjiro Ohtani was very emotional when speaking about Benoit, stating that he learned a lot from him about wrestling and that Benoit had told him privately that he loved Japan. Ohtani talked about teaming up with Benoit for a Jr. Tag League tournament and also facing each other in the first ever WCW Cruiserweight title match in 1996. Ohtani was surprised at the sudden news of Benoit's death and did not want to believe the news. [Credit: puroresupower.com]

Let's factor in a few things first:
That report about his wife killing his kid and then Benoit killing his wife is almost 99% false CONSIDERING that it contradicts EVERYTHING the media says and believes.
With that said, it COULD be real. I don't think so though.
Next, let's consider that wrestling requires such time, dedication, heart, and it leaves your body in constant stress to stay in shape. Benoit gives it his all in EVERY match and has probably suffered thousands of concussions. We all know wrestlers need pain killers and stuff and probably medication. Benoit, like GoBB said, could've easily lost it momentarily. Or maybe he was just depressed?
However, you know what's really wierd? The fact that the WWE pulls EVERYTHING off their website about Benoit immediately. WWE is either acting on impulse or is getting people like Chavo to confess what Benoit said, because they do report that he was sending out text messages.
It's a shame. Benoit's in ring accomplishments are outstanding but this incident tarnishes his wrestling legacy. However, until EVERYTHING is confirmed, this is mostly speculation.

TMZ: Benoit Strangles Wife, Smothers Son, Hangs Self
06/26/2007 by Ryan Clark
TMZ has learned more about the deaths of WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit, his wife and son -- and the information is extremely disturbing.
Several Atlanta-based law enforcement sources have told TMZ Benoit may have strangled his wife on Saturday, then smothered his son in his bed a day later. Investigators refuse to officially comment, pending final confirmation by the coroner on the cause and time of the deaths.
One source told TMZ that Benoit was texting friends during Sunday's WWE "Vengeance" Pay-Per-View program -- possibly watching the show with his son, who may have been alive at the time.
According to sources, Benoit then hanged himself Monday in a weight room inside the family home.

I agree about the wife story, I don't buy it. In my opinion the guy snapped, most likely due to roid rage as the main factor, along with any other drug dependency he had. Either way he's a piece of ***** in my eyes. I don't know how anyone could kill their own child. What pisses me off more is WWE did this honour show making him look like some great guy, when just a day earlier he was killing his family.:wtf:

The Associated Press reported the following a few minutes ago.
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- A professional wrestler who killed himself and his family was a former customer of a company implicated in an upstate New York investigation of illegal steroid sales.
That's according to the Albany County District Attorney's Office, which is conducting the investigation in New York.
Authorities in Fayetteville say Chris Benoit strangled his wife and suffocated his 7-year-old son before hanging himself over the weekend.
Investigators found anabolic steroids in the house and want to know whether the muscular man was unhinged by the bodybuilding drugs, which can cause paranoia, depression and explosive outbursts known as "roid rage."
In Albany, the DA's office confirms the 40-year-old Benoit was a customer as recently as last year of the south Florida company MedXLife.
Two of its co-owners pleaded guilty to drug charges in Albany County in April, admitting they helped get prescriptions drugs in 2006 for customers in upstate New York who had no medical need for them. The pair testified Signature Pharmacy of Orlando filled the orders.
MedXLife, no longer taking orders, attracted customers through its Web site.

the WWE didn't know about the news until after their tribute show, so I can't blame them here.
However, what will they do now? The more news that comes out, the worse Benoit looks. Do you honor his accomplishments and risk backlash or something?
WWE is in a TOUGH dilemma. Oh, and it's like 95% confirmed that Benoit stranged the wife and smuggled the kid. :(.
I think the WWE will do nothing..I don't think they'll be mentioning him anymore.

13 years later and we just have a proper Benoit case doc with Dark Side of the Ring.

I'm thinking the wife was depressed and upset and poisoned herself and the boy to death. She called Benoit as she was dying so he went home. Hopefully he called the authorities before he headed home. Then he got there and found them dead or very close to dying. It was too late. And then he being the type of person who puts his heart and soul into anything he does, fund the poison and ingested it himself in overwhelming depression and in hope of joining them in eternity.

I knew this would happen. Same people who were posting R.I.P. messages are now hoping he's "burning in hell?" Chill out. Don't spit on the man's grave without proof...you all are setting yourself up to look stupid. Innocent until proven guilty? Apparently not.
Lmao at this idiot.
Investigators estimated him to have killed them, and this dude acts like a random accused him of someting and they're going to trial... "setting yourself up to look stupid" Lol

I made this thread 13 years ago when I was 20. Daniel Benoit would have been 20 years old this year if Chris didn't killed him.

Not only that... people dont ever consider other people's perspective. They cast stones from their own house without entering the others.
The guy had severe brain damage on par with 80 year old alzheimers patients at 40 years old. People make fun of wrestling for being fake but have you ever watched one of their practice videos? I saw a triple H doc where the fella was slamming himself into the mat with the force of a running back getting flatlined by ray lewis.
The average life span of a pro wrestler was lower than football players with severe CTE.
It isn't "fake" how the stereotype has taken off. Yea... theyre not literally fighting. But theyre performing manuevers that would never take place in a real fight, that actually cause MORE damage.
Anybody in his situation couldve done the same thing. He wasnt who he once was... at all.

It was fair since nobody else but the police and few neighbors actually knew what actually went on at that moment. William Regal's friend Dave Taylor who lived close by Benoit's house supposedly let Regal know before he gave a very cautious eulogy for Chris live on Raw.

Poor child. If he followed the footsteps of his own dad, he would have been in wwe as well.

No he wouldn't. Daniel had some kind of developmental disorder.
The one who lives, David Benoit, has had suffered much more by living with the fact that his family are dead and his dad is a murderer.
