I’ll quite possibly be right even if they get Kawhi, although it won’t matter then.

Great move honestly. Favorites in the East if Kawhi goes West obviously.

Bucks making up for losing Brigdon very efficiently.

Why isn't he going to the Lakers?

Yup.

At least we're likely getting Iguodala after Grizzlies buy him out.

Great signing. :applause: A dependable shooter to help replace Brogdon, and his minimum contract was the best-remaining free-agency pick-up the FO could find (next to a TPE from one of our draft picks, which should still be possible if they machinate the proper order of operations).

I don't know if this team is more talented on-paper than last year, but they definitely should be a better playoffs team moving forward between the recently attained experience and the signees' veteranship. Brogdon and Mirotic were, in one word, putrid when it mattered the most, hence I felt it was much easier to find solid replacements for them in the grand scheme than it seemed at face value.

Great move honestly. Favorites in the East if Kawhi goes West obviously.

I'd rather see him stay on the Raptors than head out West if he's destined for the Lakers there. Even if it steepens our path to the Finals, we'll still have a much more achievable chance at the title as opposed to inexorably losing to a new superteam in the end.

Kawhi's decision could tip the scales between parity or perpetuity of this superteam era, so I'm curbing my excitement until it's announced.

Wesley is not the player he was 4+ years ago.

He is about a c+ addition to a Brogdon player.

You legitimately cannot get a better player for the minimum, he's the best replacement possible..

said the following on his radio show Monday:

"He has basically -- according to sources -- informed everybody he's going to work out a buyout and then go to the Lakers.

"So Andre Iguodala is planning on joining the Lakers from what we're being told. I don't know how true that is, whether or not it is going to definitively happen.

"But that is the plan at this particular moment in time."
