Like he's as fast, but lost some weight and worked on his shooting. Wouldn't trading Beal then be a colossal mistake for the Wizards?

They'll extend him, 4 years, 300 million.

Is Durant?
It's nowhere near the same. Wall is small and his game revolves around his speed and explosiveness. Kd is 7 feet tall and can go mid-range and the post as well as spot up for the three. Neither are going to be the same but kd will still be relevant. Wall is done man

And elite passing. Maybe he scores 18 and puts up 13 assists per game.

If Wall plays the best ball of his career when he comes back the wizards still won

I don't see it man. He could still be good but there's no way he comes back better. He's alot like d rose. They're games are so reliant on there athleticism. You take that away and they're not the same player

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas. Why would he all the sudden come back being able to shoot after 9 seasons never developing a jump shot?

D Rose was all about slashing and landing without knowing where the ground was. Wall plays nothing like that. He has an elite passing game.

He wont come back better. Near 30...torn achilles,BUT i have a strong feeling he will reinvent himself into a jason kidd/andre miller type pg. below the rim game...deadly mid range and can hit an occasional three to keep defense honest.

Wall hits the deck a lot, and his passing game is based on athleticism.

Wall doesn't play off the ball. He doesn't cut, set screens, or have the ability to spot up effectively. If he doesn't have the ball, he's a negative, and if he doesn't have his speed you don't want him to have the ball.

It hurts. I'm a Wizards fan and I've followed his career since the beginning.

Yeah but alot of his assists are a result of his speed and athleticism. Running the floor and being able to blow by his defender. Both of those will be impacted by the injury. Trust me dude he won't be the same player

He won't. After multiple injuries and turning 29 in a couple of months he's not getting any quicker.

His career regular season record is 271 wins, 302 losses.

I think his 4 turnovers a game are a contributing factor to why this is; I wonder why this doesn't impact LeBron's game in the same way; why do you think that is?

Will John Wall make the playoffs for a change?

:biggums: Westbrook couldn't make it to the second round without KD. PG wasn't enough either. Meanwhile, Wall got there routinely.

It's kind of strange. No one feels like making any prognostications of grandeur about John Wall. No one feels like proliferating the forum with John Wall threads.

In eight years, Wall has made the second round twice, and never gotten past the second round. And that's in the East.

He missed the playoffs in 2015-16 with Bradley Beal, Gortat and Markieff Morris on his team. They finished 10th place. Dwight was in the West then. The East was weak.

How far does Westbrook get with Beal, Gortat, and Markieff Morris?

probably not too far. Westbrook doesn't play a winning style of basketball if you ask me, but he has been on an insane motor trip these past few years as a workhorse, so it's difficult to not give him some due credit.

I think he's fun to watch, I just don't believe in him at all.

Wall is point gaurd that can't shoot or defend. He's blazing speed and athleticism was his best attribute. He wasn't amazing before the injury and he'll be even worse after it.

Neither Jason Kidd or Andre Miller had that. John Wall should be happy with just an even decent midrange but i doubt he can get anywhere close to Chris Paul's level

John Wall got some game. John Wall can blow by his man almost every time. John Wall got some sick stats. But John Wall can't shoot. And John Wall makes a lot of mistakes. So John Wall don't win.
