If it's Cousins, Green, Morris, Iggy, McGee?
Is that enough supporting cast to seriously contend, or do the Lakers need another offseason, and maybe hope for Kawhi next year?
I'd be real interested in how Cousins would do in this situation.

He's tailor-made for this brand of banana boat, I'd say.

If somehow lost Kawhi but get all of the five u mentioned above that would be huge plan B.. u get your front court rotation of Lebron plus Kuzma AD plus Morris and cousins plus McGhee so starters and bench. Green would start at 2 and get Burke or Rondo at PG..

If the last 6 seasons have taught me is I always ride and die with these journeymen. Brandon bass? Hell yeah. Corey Brewer? Sign me up! Jeremy Lin? Awesome! And now you’re telling me we got Jared Dudley? Welcome to laker gang my annoying face friend.
I’m not being ironic. Offseason is always an embarrassment as a laker fan but once the season gets rolling I get attached to these dudes :biggums:

We have had completely new rosters every season. Our front office swings for grand slams, but when they miss they settle for scraps. ‘Team chemistry’ is an underrated concept. The last time we had team chemistry was in 2010. Putting bron and AD and a random assembled crew of journeymen, vet minimum players, g league studs is not gonna get far in this league. The jazz, bucks, blazers, warriors, raptors, etc etc all have a semblance of a multi year core and they make the playoffs every year. We had that with our young core..don’t be surprised if LeGroin and A-knee fail to get the lakers to the playoffs again if Kawhi doesn’t sign.

Plan A = Ring
Plan B = Ring
Prefer plan A for future success but we will see.

Fanny98 will make the same excuse he did last season:
I don't know why everyone is overreacting LeBron is still going to make the playoffs Spurs and Clippers are trash and LeBron will go into GOAT mode down the stretch

We're already looking to next season this was supposed to be a throwaway season from the start anyway
