Hands down Kawhi! Two way wise, MJ and Kawhi are the top two perimeter players EVER! Peak-prime wise, he's a top 4 SF ever along with Bron, Bird, and KD. But Harden is a beast no doubt about it. The level Kawhi ranks at all time among SF's peak-prime, Harden ranks close to that among SG's.

But I can find other guards who could come close to what he does. Imagine Steph in that DAntoni offense!! Or Kyrie and Dame. Or imagine a Mark Price. It's MUCH RARER to find guys with Kawhi's two way ability. But in terms of pure offensive ability, Harden is superior.

I'm having a hard time imagining how it's not even close when Harden is runner up or MVP last three seasons and averaged 36 a game this year. Dude is getting underrated now because everyone hates his game, and recency bias.

Kawhi is the better overall player of course, but don't act like the gap is gigantic. Kawhi is a top 3 NBA player imo. Harden, AT WORST, is a top 6-7 in the league.
