He also NEVER had a humiliating breakdown like Bran in 2011.
So 2011 and 2016 cancel eachother out.
Jordan's still the undisputed GOAT

LeBron also never had 3 first round losses like MJ
Each first round loss cancels out 1 ring
LeBron and Jordan both have 3 rings

Comparable overall stats to MJ this year, but his method of achieving those stats doesn't elevate his team even close to MJ
So he needs more talent than MJ.. The results are speaking for themselves

i doubt we will EVER see this type of greatness in my lifetime.
LeBron is the GOAT for the foreseeable future.

We all see the stats in front of us and I'm not afraid to accept that Lebron averaged 24 pts and 6 TO for the first 4 games, before the last three games of 36 and 3 TO, or MJ's average for the entire 91-93 Finals.. So Lebron's best 3 game stretch was MJ's three-year standard, and he frequently exceeded it..
Of course, Lebron only turned it around because Silver suspended the superior alpha for Game 5
And MJ was playing in slower-paced and more physical Finals with no spacing compared to today's game.. Both the suns/bulls averaged 106.7 ppg and 113.0 ortg, so a 30/11/9 performance from MJ would've gotten blown out of the gym. And we all see Lebron get his brand blown away, on and off the court.
Btw, rebounds are meaningless because it's pretty much impossible for any team to need their SG to get 10 rebs to win.. the game is structured that way, which makes Lebron's rebound advantage an "empty" stat.. Similarly, assist stats depend on scoring burden as well as a team's dedication to moving the ball and being an unbeatable team.
So again, the best 3-game stretch of Lebron's career was MJ's 3-year standard

That's actually a good way of looking at it.
Also this stuff about Jordan never beating a 73 win team, is kind of self-defeating. Jordan was too busy leading quite possibly the greatest team of all time in 96 to 72 wins, not to mention winning 69 (then tied for second best of all time) in 97, and 67 wins in 93. Another thing people forget is that Curry was injured earlier in the playoffs and never played quite up to his standards. Had a hard time maneuvering, as seen in the final play in game 7 when he couldn't even juke slow Kevin Love. Injuries are part of the game, but LeBron was quite fortunate that Green was suspended in game 5, and both Curry and Andre (back) were hurt throughout the series. Not to say the Cavs weren't somewhat banged up too, but the Warriors injuries/suspension were more impactful. And probably the reason the Warriors lost that year, just as this year (where injuries to KD and Klay obviously affected the whole series).
