View Full Version : I love how Laker fans have conceded the Clippers have the better team

It's hysterical seeing how sad Laker fans are and admitting that the Clippers are the better team.

I admire them for their honesty instead of delusion.

Enjoy watching the Lakers continuous 1st round exits thanks to Rich Paul the GM giving big contracts out and no one wanting to play with the Primadonna :applause:

Clippers about to win 2 straight.. not sure about 3 depending on "load management"

Some Laker fans are delusional and some fans are realistic. Then you have those who pretend to be Laker fans because one player is on the team. The Lakers have been a mess for years now. Adding lebron only extended the dysfunction for 4 more years. It was a dumb signing then and its a dumb signing now. Magic really screwed this team up. And Jeanie needs to realize she is not her dad.

A washed up Danny Green and shaqtin' a fool Mcgee bout to show you whats up.

A lot of Laker fans won't live in reality right now. Go on the subreddit for the Lakers they all parading around having the best duo in the league and how they bout to win a ring. Absolute denial.

True. They added two top 5 to 10 players in the league...what were they thinking!? That you Laker retards wonder why you are the laughingstock of the sports world is just hilarious. It's because of moronic gems like this.

The Jazz aren't winning anything. Mitchell would have to jump about two tiers for them to have any real chance and that doesn't look like it's going to happen. He had the worst playoffs ever this past season where a player had a 30%+ usage.

Lebron James and Anthony Davis are better than Paul George and Kawhi Leonard   Is this even an argument?

Lebron's career speaks for itself and he was still a dominant player on the offensive end last year. George has proven 0 and is one of the most unclutch "superstars" I've ever seen, coming off rotator cuff surgery nonetheless. Kawhi played 60 games last season and was still hobbled in the Playoffs and has one fully healthy "superstar" season under his belt. Davis has been a dominant player and a healthy one at that for the past 3 years, would have played 75 or so games again if they didn't shut him down due to trade talks.

Then you look at their 3rd options - Kuzma is going to keep developing and will probably be a better scorer than Lou Will next season, Lou had the 3PT shot in his favor last year but Kuzma is a better scorer overall - insanely efficient on 2s.

You must have missed the entire playoffs.

And you call Paul George not clutch when Anthony Davis has not done a single thing ever in his entire career in the playoffs.

Don't be too harsh on him.. He's going through all the stages of grief like I was. It's just taking him a little longer. Best to be in denial now and think an aging Lebron and AD with some vet corpses that lebron is so good at signing is better than a Clipper squad with an extremely solid starting 5.

Let's see - Kawhi took about as many games off as Lebron in the RS and averaged 27/7/3 to Lebron's 27/9/8. Lebron averaged 34/9/9 in his last Playoff run (22 games) vs Kawhi's 31/9/4(24), only that Lebron didn't take basically half the RS off (played all 82) and carried a worse roster to the Finals.

Can't believe you're making me go pro-Lebron here but you're ****ing stupid if you think a proven all-time great like James paired with a healthy young superstar in AD is worse than two hobbled forwards who have THREE 25+ ppg seasons COMBINED under their belts in their late 20s

I just realized who was defending Lebron :kobe:

But agreed, no reason to sell Lebron short. And he had an entire offseason off for once. That should help. AD is going to play like an MVP. He has something to prove.

This seems kind of biased. George obviously made a jump last year. I doubt he’s as good this year with less shot attempts but I doubt he’s back to his just an all star/fringe all-nba lvl years either. Clippers for now have better depth. Lou+Harrell is just superior to kuzma+whoever’s your 4th best player

Made a jump at age 28? He had a couple hot months and then regressed to the mean the last 20 or so games, am I going to trust him to get back on that level? Maybe, but not for that long of a stretch and there's more "bad" with him in the Playoffs than great so I'm not convinced here, especially with a bad shoulder that will affect his 3PT shooting.

AD is a ****ing monster, he was statistically the best player in the league before they shut him down and he's been playing on that level the past 3 years. James is a proven commodity who could have played more than 55 games last year but our team wasn't doing well enough for him to risk further injury, he was still his old self on the offensive end so I can't overlook that.

Am I taking George over AD? HELL NO. Am I taking Kawhi over Lebron? That's a debate but George is the worst of the four by soo much that it's hilarious to say the Clippers have a better duo.

It should definitely help. I remember thinking that before and that this upcoming season, at least, he'll have a really strong year because of all the rest he got for once. He may even play some defense again. :oldlol:

Yup PG who played with an injured shoulder for half the season and still got 3rd in MVP voting :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

AD has never done anything in the playoffs. At least PG continually led his mediocre teams to the ECF and lost to the Heat. AD has not done anything in the playoffs.

He averaged 25.5/8.6/4.0 on 38/33/84 shooting over the last 20 games of the season. He had a nice 30-game stretch of shooting 10+ threes a game but I need more than that to put him over AD or Lebron. Him and Russ finished with 48/49 wins and B2B first round losses. This is the Paul George OKC got for an Oladipo who was a completely liability during Westbrook's MVP season, when he led his team to 47 wins, they barely got better, if at all, with Paul George.

AD is extremely injury-prone - 75 games in 2017 and 2018, was on pace to play 75+ again before the trade talks :lol

Kawhi's played 74 games at most and missed 95 games the past two seasons, George is coming off a serious shoulder injury and won't be 100% for some time either. It's funny you mentioned Vogel because George played under him and never got more than 37 minutes per game.

Clippers are definitely the better team.

Now if this was PEAK Lebron on the Lakers then I would choose the Lakers.

But Lebron will be 35 this year, season 17, with like 60,000+ minutes which is like 40% more than guys like Magic, Bird, MJ...

Rondo/cook
Green/kcp/Daniel's
Lebron/Dudley/THT

With possibly iggy and korver on the way..I wouldn't say one team is clearly better than the other. 2 elite teams in LA, both squaded up.
