He ended up successfully calling up PG and Kawhi waiting was to sign to force the Thunder to make a trade to the Clips...wow NO ONE saw this shit coming. Like nobody.

Crazy moves...also goes to show that Kawhi is just like all the other superstars by wanting to fully control his destiny and try to team up with other players.

This is what the NBA will be basically from now on until drastic Free Agency rule changes.

More like this is what the NBA will look like going forward until the fans and media stop solely judging a player's worth by their rings.

Good luck with that... we've been hearing that stupid reasoning for a long, LONG ass time.

RINGS, ERNIE!!!

RANGZ!!!

What has changed is cell phones follow players around in their pockets telling them how useless they are if they don't win rings.

Kawhi seems about as unplugged as you can realistically get, and clearly he still hears it.

That's part of it sure, but PLAYERS have WAY more power and control than they did even a decade ago...and it was a COMPLETELY different world in the 80's and 90's with barely any Free Agent rights and weirder contracts/salaries.

I mean, there has been a seismic culture change and infrastructure change that the NBA now is a very different world than it used to be. A guy like Kawhi doing all the moves he did just cements it 100%.

I don't mind it perse...as along we can avoid extreme super teams (Warriors 17-19) that when healthy can't ever lose...then I love it.

The NBA next season is looking very juicy.

Nothing better than being a champion. Karl Malone would love to have just one ring. Did AD go to play with lebron just to be bestest buddies? No top 10 player will ever be that high without titles.

You don't get it

You're a low IQ moron tho, so it makes sense that you don't get it

You dumbass.

The point is that nobody in the history of the sport as an individual gets you a ring except MAYBE Bill Russell because his own personal team impact was that damn strong from HS to NCAA to NBA. And even a case can be made against him.

It takes a TEAM to win a title and yet titles are how we as a collective judge an INDIVIDUAL’S worth... lol... it’s because we are stupid and or lazy as a collective.
