How is everyone doing this? Yeah, they should be better than last year barring injuries...but they are still a 2nd round playoff team at best.

There are still a lot of trades and deals to be made, so I'm not ready rate the Lakers just yet - or any other team for that matter. Right now, the Lakers have absolutely zero depth, but I'm sure they're working on fixing that.

I'm also not sure what to make of the Westbrook deal. I could see him drastically enhancing the team, and I could also see him doing nothing to improve the team. If nothing else, him being on the Lakers makes things interesting.

Lebron has Oscar Robertson and Tim Duncan as teammates... The Lakers are UNDERRATED severerly and shouild be prohibitive favorites

Look pal, if he was playing against washed 90s teams he would have a strong chance of winning but guys like KD and Giannis and Kawhi are floating around and all of them are 10x better than any 90s player not named Jordan (and even then it's getting close). Talent levels went UP big time since the 90s.

Who cares about KD and Giannis - it's their help that matters and Middleton/Jrue are nowhere near Oscar/Duncan (Westbrook/AD)... And neither are Kyrie/Harden... It's not even close but the media is doing their dance for lebron again to protect his inferior legacy

Anyone who thinks Lakers are favorites to win it all are silly. KD, Harden, and Kyrie are a much better fit. Besides being bigger and stronger, LA cant shoot. With that said, Kobe, Jordan, Magic werent known to be elite shooters but manage to win. LA need to find some shooters first otherwise 1st-2nd round exit.

You're betting on injury prone snowflakes that can't play defense. Once the Lakers' roster is filled out, they will be prohibitive favorites.

Westbrook had career highs in assists and was distributing more - 22/12/12 - better stats than even Lebron ever got..

Lebron is a c*cksucker.. I just realized that Westbrook gives Lebron exactly what he needs - raw production - Lebron is an efficiency whore - fits perfectly with a raw-producer... See the 14' Finals when the Heat had the best efficiency against the Spurs of any Spurs' opponent in those playoffs - but they lost by record margin because they had by far the lowest raw production (ppg) of any Spurs opponent.. People don't realize that aggressively missed shots that teammates are anticipating the player taking often spearhead an offensive rebounding advantage, which contributes to controlling the game/wearing down the opponent's capacity.. Westbrook could be perfect for Lebron.

Anyway, so again - Lebron/Oscar/Duncan - should be prohibitive favorites.
