Fighters trash talk all the time to build up the fights though...thats what brings excitement and makes the people want to tune in. I guess the other fighter really took it personnal though and still kept a grudge even in the post fight interview.

Dude Askren was saying during the ENTIRE buildup that he could take any shot from Jorge and not get hurt because his training partner (Robbie Lawler) hit Ben as hard as he could and didnt get knocked out. He also said it didnt matter what Jorge was going to do because he has no strength

When you talk so much shit for a rookie in the UFC you are going to get hurt. Especially to a 6 year UFC vet like Jorge Masvidal

And Ben has no respect in general. For example Jorges last fight he knocked out Darren Till and Ben took to twitter to call out Till by saying his performance was shit and he got “knocked dead”

The punches after he was down were not necessary but as a fighter you want to make you win the fight right there, it's hard to tell if someone is out cold in the heat of the moment.

Not really. A lot of guys get knocked out and then snap out of it quick and are able to continue the fight. Besides, what would you know about fighting? You call the authorities the moment someone steps into your personal space.

the way Masvidal collided with Askren it was hard for him to see/tell if his strike actually landed.
