Hard times will come to civilization and many places will fall before Africa has had it's chance to go through its industrial revolution. Modernized countries like the US, China and UK will use up everything before they can develop. :(

They better hurry up. You do realize that, although African Americans height remains stable, the people throughout all of SubSaharan Africa are rapidly shrinking. They were by far the tallest people on Earth 75 years ago, now Latin America is catching up with them and will pass them soon. Europeans have been rapidly getting taller and they were already kind of tall to begin with. Asia and Latin America is also getting taller rapidly. Koreans have grown 6" in 50 years! While Africa on average has shrunk 2 inches. The average Nigerian male is now only 5'7. They will struggle in sports were height is important in the future unless geneticists can reverse mother nature through designer babies.

Asians and Latin America are finally getting more food / protein.

I remember reading that China had like a 1/2 lb meat ration per month 50 years ago. Most Americans eat that in a day. I probably double that every day.

I do wonder why Africa is shrinking... Could it be over population? Only the strongest survived back then but now they are flooded with too many people not enough food?
