Damn I can't get a Heat Westbrook jersey. But will root for him wherever he goes, even if it's Houston

Westbrook and Butler... two misfits on the same team would be tragic.
There's talks he might go to Houston:

Yeah. It would be wrong to get a Heat, Bulls, Pacers jersey. As a matter of fact, I have never had a rooting interest outside of the Knicks or a Western Conference team. I dunno, it might change if Westbrook comes East. The Knicks-Heat rivalry has been dead for almost 20 years lol
And plus the Knicks have sucked for so long sigh.

DSJ is a mini Westbrook. Would be nice to see that match up.

could make for a great fantasy season with so many players proving themselves on new teams

With the way it goes this off season, players should only sign one year contract, so every year they would be able to play where they want, with who they want. It almost look like that anyway

Yea, I don't know what the future holds.
For example, what if Towns just comes out and demands a trade? I wouldn't blame him, the Wolves are shit and have been so for a long time...and have the horrid Wiggins contract.
But, he's also under contract for 5 years and they won't be able to get equal value for him at all. Do they just say no and move forward with a max player that fans know doesn't want to be there? Seems like an impossible situation for teams...
I'm just not sure how if this current system is sustainable with players empowered to use their sway in such demonstrative ways now.

Yuck. I was going to casually root for them this upcoming season, but I will never want any team to do anything but fail if it has this chucking clown on it.

Westbrook and Butler plus all the other defensive minded players that team has will make them a tough team come playoff time.

Not really. Westbrick will just shoot them out of the playoffs like he shot the Thunder out of the last two playoffs. 22.8ppg on 22.2 shot attempts this past playoffs. That was while Paul George was averaging 28.6ppg on 20.2 shots. Jimmy Butler is not as good as Paul George and this heat teams supporting cast will just as meh as the Thunders. They would do nothing. Westbrick has clearly lost a step and is only getting older while his jumpshot continues to be as worthless as it was since he joined the league. Heat would do nothing adding him.

It must hurt to be a Thunder fan you were building your team to make a run and a couple of more pieces and with Golden State becoming even with everyone else who's elite, your front office traded Gorge and now Westbrook is leaving and back to rebuilding mode only to trade everyone away again.

Riley would be a fool to trade Herro, who could be leading the franchise in 3 years or at least be a solid contributor on an elite team. And at only 19.

I'm with it. CP3 fighting with Harden means he needs to be gone. You don't come at the beard.
Plus, Russ and James are good buddies, get it done DM :pimp:

In a span of 5 years, OKC could have lost Durant, Harden, Westbrook, and George.
Harden and George, you can argue, they lost them because the owner was cheap and didn't want to pay luxury tax.
Not a good look for future free agents. Especially in a place like OKC.. not exactly a ideal destination to live....
Move back to Seattle.
