McGee is a poor mans Capela at best, Cousins is a huge question mark, and Rondo hasn't been very good since he was in Boston.

McGee and Cousins could have likely gotten more, but they are in ring chasing mode, Rondo is overpaid.

Cousins rejected 2 years/40M in New Orleans. Now he only gets minimum deal for one year...

They took less to play in LA because it's LA Lakers, most attractive franchise ever

Two of them loved AD so much they took min deals to play with his team

And yes, they're pretty good players

why would mcgee be in ring chase mode he has 2? Shouldnt he start looking for atleast 10m contracts or anything upward the vet minimum. Cousins has become a mercenary for hire , but hopefully he does well kinda feel bad for him.

Because they are minimum level players.

The Rondo signing makes sense if he's used properly, but if they play him next to Lebron...whether it is as a starter or just minutes throughout the game...it will be yet another terrible decision just like last year.

If, however, they rightly play Rondo pretty much exclusively without Lebron...I really think it will be a nice signing.

Cousins/McGee are easily worth the risk.

Cousins will be beat bang for buck FA signing this offseason of any player. He should be healthier than last year and playoffs and more motivated to prove he can still be elite combined that he is a top 5 skilled talent in NBA at center.
