Honestly, Bron should have been the one to get 4FMVPS and be in second all time alone for most FMVPS.

But the person MOSTLY LIKELY to get 4FMVPs is...Kawhi Leonard somehow.

Dude only averages 17.7/6.3/2.4 for his career and doesn't even have 10,000 career points...and his 2FMVPS are a very weak one (2014) and a very lucky one (2019)...yet here is on the best team in the league next year (Clips) and could very well win his 3rd FMVP next year to no one's surprise.

This dude has the weirdest career arc ever. He has only had 2 elite seasons, one very good one, and then a couple of decent ones...yet he has just been at the right place and the right time for 2 rings/FMVPS...and also 2 DPOY.

Honestly no one's all-time "resume" is more inflated than Kawhi's considering (not factoring in all-nba's which I think he only has 2?) his actual total production for someone entering their 9th season.

The Lakers are maybe the 5-6th best team in the league and Lebron might not even be the best player at this point...so very doubtful he will get another FMVP...meanwhile Durant is out another year and who knows how he will return?

SO, we have Kawhi freakin Leonard as someone who could have more FMVPs than ANYONE besides MJ...what the hell.

Seriously though, Kawhi's had a very weird career arc.

No MVPS, barely any all-nba appearances, and only has like 8000 points through 8 seasons...yet 2 rings, 2fmvps, 2DPOYs...WHAT?

There's a possibility Giannis gets there first, but I'm not sure the Bucks are good enough team now. But Giannis could win one there and go join a superstar somewhere else and win three more.

Dude is insanely young, but can he win 1 first before we give him FOUR FMVP's :lol

As for the OP, Kawhi would have a decent shot. I don't think he'll get past 3, but it's possible

You guys brag about Lebron's stats, but the rebuttal is "how many rings did those stats get?"

Obviously, Lebron isn't doing something right or as good compared to guys whose stats yield a higher rate of winning

Kawhi's more effective style simply wins more (great all-round shooting, versatile/timely scoring over excessive assists/hold-time).

Infact, he exemplifies the most effective playing style of the last 30 years - timely scoring and 4-7 apg (11' Dirk, 06' Wade, KD, Kawhi, Kobe, MJ, Duncan) - this approach is simply a more "efficient" use of stats

Similarly, MJ's optimal style yielded the most winning per stats ever - his 27.9 PER yielded 6 rings in 11 full seasons thru lebron's current age of 35... Otoh, lebron's 27.6 only got 3 rings in 17 full seasons

You have Wilt number 2 all time, so everything you are saying is simply a troll.

I'm sure if Kawhi ever gets to 4FMVPs or a possible 3-peat, you'll do everything you can to tear him down because you are a 42 year old guy who has gay fantasies about MJ.

Exactly why Russell > Jordan

I would only tear down Kawhi if he deserved it like lebron

So if the media/fans viewed the 4 fmvp that you mentioned as equal to MJ's 6, and unfairly overrated or put Kawhi's 4 up there with MJ's 6..... Like they've done with lebron's 3 rings in 17 years, versus Jordans 6 in 11 full seasons by 35 yrs old..

Then I'd knock Kawhi.. But not until then

We're talking 3-pointer basketball, keep up..

MJ has the most 3-pointer basketball rings among goat candidates.. :coleman:

So he's the goat winner at 3-pointer basketball..

along with the best stats - #1 PPG and Efficiency Rating....

And most dominant - most regular season mvp's in 3-pointer basketball by far; only player with 4+ FMVP's (6)

Plus 10 scoring titles with 9 first-team all-defense (goat 2-way player).. and most unbeatable player ever with an all-star, or a 1 or 2 seed

Nah, Duncan was a superstar player immediately, and had been a top 5 player almost every year by his 8th season in the league, already being a 2x MVP & 3x FMVP

Exactly, Kawhi averaged 13/6/2 in the 2014 season...same one he won his FMVP in.

His accolades far outweigh his actual career production.

Like it's possible the second half of his career in top 20 worthy all time...and the first half might not even top 200.

I thought Curry kind of had a weird career arc but Kawhi takes the cake.
Curry's unusual in the fact he went from a good-very good, all-star caliber (albeit consistently injured) player his first 5 years to a superstar, BITW caliber one seemingly over night, turning the Warriors into a powerhouse while having as much influence on the game as anybody's ever had
