It sucks to be associated with such imbeciles. Those are either Lebron fans, or real young fans. I have never seen the fanbase get this stupid before. Last week it was all rah rah over Kawhi. Now, hes public enemy number 1 because he didnt want to suck lebrons shaft like AD. The adult Laker fans are not acting like this. Its these clowns who recently started watching.

There have also been moments where Lebron gets ran on with AD on the bench, like the start of the 4th against the Clippers. Runs happen throughout the game. What I've noticed is that there have been games where Lebron looks bad in the 4th and almost blows the lead and AD has had to come up with a bunch of game-saving plays on defense.
Last season he was ranked #1 in 4th quarter scoring :biggums: unreal.

Let's see - 5 rings in 7 Finals or 3 rings in 9 Finals? Your choice.
Are the Playoffs about putting up as many numbers as possible in one-sided losses or actually winning?

Kobe performed better because his teams won, Lebron's stats weren't that great prior to the post-modern era, where everyone's numbers are inflated.
"oh but he averaged a triple double when he lost 1 - 4 in 2017!!! LEGOAT!!" I saw Kobe beat the teams Lebron lost to when they were both in their primes and expected to meet up in the Finals in 09/10.

You’re basically just telling us “I’m so madly in love with Kobe it’s made me retarded and incapable of thinking critically”
I'm saying that Playoffs resume is all about winning if you're comparing two all-time greats. Numbers are secondary to actually winning the championship. Kobe won 5 rings 2 years before Lebron won his first, they didn't compete for titles in the same era really.
Lebron stans are so infatuated with stats because they can't speak on championships, they look at a good statistical run in a loss as a win when in reality it means jack shit because he didn't get it done.

LeBron has more rings as the best player on his team than Kobe does and you’ll never be able to change that fact.

"as the best player on his team", like Kobe wasn't an elite player when he won in the early 2000s and didn't lead his teams in wins against better opponents than those in the Finals.
2001 Shaq: "Kobe is the best player in the world", 2001 Phil: "Kobe's the best player with an all-around game I've ever had".
Random neckbeard on ISH: "Kobe was CARRIED by Shaq! Shaq won FMVP!"

What does that have to do with comparing PLAYOFF resumes? He asked me which player had the better Playoff resume. Obviously the guy with 5 rings wins. Kobe was an elite player when he won all 5 but now they're moving the goalposts to FMVPs, like anyone wouldn't take 5 title runs over 3.
"But Robert Horry won 7", Robert Horry was never close to even being an all-star.

Lebron was arguably the best player in the league (between him and KD) when he lost in 2014, you wouldn't say Kawhi was because he won the title and FMVP, right?
He was in 2001 and Shaq himself would tell you that, like he did in 2001. They had to get past the Spurs first, tell me who was always the one beating the Spurs. The Finals were always one-sided and Kobe and Shaq understood that they had to dominate a series based on match-ups. Kobe was scoring more than James while also leading his teams in assists in 2001 and 2002, but somehow those rings are not on the same level because Kobe had Shaq and Lebron had multiple stars and much deeper rosters in comparison.
Compare the 2011-13 Heat to the 00-02 Lakers and what you see is that while Kobe has Shaq, Lebron has multiple star players and a better bench.
They lost one game in the 2001 playoffs and it was to the

You can be the best player in the league like Jordan from 87-90 and not win the title..I'm sure you've argued that 2009 Lebron is the best he's ever been despite him losing as a #1 seed.

Sounds like something you would claim. Well probably not. I don't know HOW you'd rank Lebron because your criteria is inconsistent. Championships > stats only seem to matter when your hero has a good team around him.
Seems kinda flawed. But maybe that's just me.

Everything is flawed. You can look at the stats but not all teams are equal and the same team might defend your team differently than mine, so the two players aren't really on an even playing field, it's not as simple as Player A being better than Player B just because they have the better numbers. This isnt baseball.
Rule changes and pace come into play as well since you wouldn't compare the early 2000s players to current ones just based on stats because you understand that they didn't play the game the same way, it was much harder to score in 2004 than it is today, there's been a long transition process since the 2004 season but the offensive numbers have been going up for a while now to the point where Ortg is the highest it's ever been. It just makes more sense to look at championships. Obviously you need a great team to win but you can't tell me that Lebron didn't play on some great teams and lose as well. There are a lot of factors in this so it ends up being highly subjective when comparing anyone and people are emotionally attached to players.
