Does anyone really think these two personalities and playing styles can coexist?

It's better than being irrelevant. They'll make some noise and put butts in seats.

Russ needs shooters all around him. Heat need to keep herro at all costs...and try to get Beal if possible.
Butler can go fck himself.

Should be entertaining with all the scowls and what. Couldn't think of a better place for Russ at this juncture.

Anybody that forces Westbrook to play off-ball more often is a good match for him. But they need perimeter shooters to space the floor for them since they like operating in the paint and mid-range.

I don't like the Heat's approach to the post-Wade era.

:lol ikr
Anyway, it is a bad idea, yes. But Riles and Spoles are too stubborn to care. They know talent = better chance to win and I'm sure they think they can control both guys to play together well.
Not if Tyler Herro is sandwiched between them as the 2guard.

Westbrick on any team where he's allowed a usage rate and shot attempts as a star is a terrible idea. The most overrated player in the NBA of all time.

at first glance it seems like a bad fit, but what Westbrook really needs is a closer and Butler is one of the better closers in the league.
Really excited about Nunn and Herro

Two non shooters as your stars is tough. Whose their frontcourt? Hope they can shoot.
The east will be dogshit though so they should still make playoffs easily.

I don't know why people keep saying Jimmy is not a good shooter. Its baffling.

i think its more that hes not a 'catch and shoot' guard. hes best at creating his own shot rather than standing at the 3pt line. not a bad thing by any means, but not an ideal pairing with a ball/usage dominant PG.
