they compared some of his physical attributes to kawhi he's big and strong for a forward great wingspan. he'll become a very good player when he develops

He was awesome last night.

One thing I loves is that he didn't overdribble. He used his dribble efficiently to get to his spots without risking turnovers. His mid-range game is looking nice, and if he can hit 3's it will open up the game for him and his teammates.

He is built like Kawhi in terms of strength/length/hand size. His mid range game is similar too. He hit a step through from the free throw line to open up the game.

Last night he:

Scored 1 on 1 mid-range
Scored 1 on 1 driving
Scored in transition
Scored spot up 3's
Scored as the roll man in a PnR

And had a nasty chasedown block off the backboard.

My Japanese NBA media friends say that there will CONSTANT coverage of Rui's every move in the NBA over in Japan. Which isn't a surprise, but it'll be fun to see how he does
