A lot of us grew up during this era of basketball, and for me personally it's the era that bring me the most nostalgia and best memories of NBA basketball. But who is the GOAT of this era? At first when I started to make this thread it was going to be between Duncan and Bryant only, but I have to include Shaq in this list even though he kind of fell off after they won the title in 2006. But anyways, there is also an option for other and feel free to list your argument as to why anyone else (I wonder who...) would be the GOAT of the 00's.

If you selected "Other", please post their bio's in the same format as the above 3 so that it is easier for people to review and make their selections. I realize this might not be the most unbiased place for this...but what the hell, lettuce see where this goes.

Kevin Garnett should be an option. He had a bigger impact than Kobe ever did but was just imprisoned on that Twolves team during his prime playing with hacks.

Imagine thinking Garnett could make the playoffs with this cast let alone win the chip:

Vujacic
Farmar
Adam Morrison
Shannon Brown
Josh Powell
Chris Mihm
Mbenga
Radmanovic
Sun Yue
Walton
Rookie Bynum
Lamar "What happened to him after Kobe again?" Odom
Ron "Beg naked Kobe in the shower" Artest
Pau "0-16" Gasol

Feel free to create a bio for him and I'll be more than willing to add him.

Just copy/paste my formatting and fill in the stats, shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes.

Shaq. By a good amount.

Shaq leaves everyone in dust. Then a significant gap. Then Duncan.

Then it depends on whether you value individual impact or rings. Garnett and Lebron both have a claim for 3rd place based on peak level.

Not like there's a player in the OP with both....

And considering Lebron loses 3 years to everyone else, he wouldn't have an advantage one way or the other.

Why don't you guys actually vote instead of just posting though? 3 posts are for Shaq, yet he only has 1 vote :oldlol:

Kobe carrying it so far with 50% of the vote.

Also, how do you make it so that the poll is not anonymous? What's the point, I want to see what posters picked who.

What is the point of voting when this board is 90% stupidity coupled with moronic bias. Making a poll on this this board is absolutely worthless. Go make this on a board that actually has more than 10% actual worthwhile posts.

There really wasn't a clear cut GOAT of 00s, but Shaq was by far the best in the early part and LeBron was by far the best by the end of the 00s. For a couple years in between it was Duncan. I voted for Shaq in this, but it's a bad and pointless poll.
